I honestly can see this happening, my personal head canon is that out of all the residents of Ever After two beings make little sense for existing there the Jabbawalker and the Blacksmith. The Jabbawalker is a being that can consume other Afterians and cuts them off from ascension it’s existence makes little sense as to why it lives there, the Blacksmith also seems to be odd in the sense of how human she looks (from what I’m able to tell there are not many humanoid creatures in Ever After and I have a feeling the fact that so much of her is hidden from view is to express how out of place she is) I can see Alyx being one of these two beings likely as the Blacksmith since the fate of the Jabbawalker is unknown

Agreed. As for Alyx, I think she may be in the shadows…planning to escape no matter what, which would fit her selfish, petty, and Cinderish attitude. Her words could be interpreted as preventing her from leaving to get to the tree. Not to escape ever after but to collect a role or new destiny for herself to stay in ever after. Basically allowing her to be someone she can't in remanant

Either that or she is a descendent of Lewis/Alyx but I feel it is more likely Ruby is the soul for the tree remakes one into what they want. Alyx wanted to be a hero but her cruelty got in the way. I don't care about ships at all, I'm more interested in character development and let's be honest both ruby and jaune have been needing this for a long time. I don't watch rwby very much after what they did to Adam but hopefully they do this part right.
Going on an awful bug assumption that there even is a way for him to age down considering how long Jaune has traveled the Ever After and never found something to do just that. We are also assuming that his current state is really a good thing for him, because he seems to be different than before and not necessarily a good way.

He does end up technically keeping people under a Hostage situation just to keep them from being Recycled into something new Ascension isn't Death, It's Recreation And if the god's made the Ever After, they saw the Error of this and made the Recreation thing outlawed in their new creation
If Jaune gets returned back to his proper age then I hope he gets to keep all that knowledge and experience that he obtained from being aged by the time fruit
In wiess defense Jaune wasn't that likeable in the early volumes for rwby and it was at the dance she started see Jaune in a different light. Jaune was one of those you have as friends if when talking to girls he just embarrassed you in front of everyone.
Weiss already likes the Rusted Knight to begin with; I think despite it's Jaune either way, her slight fantasy crush on the Rusted Knight applied to Jaune. Which is why I don't really think they would get together, especially with Jaune not really looking like he'd want to be in any relationship right now.
I hope jaune keeps the skills he gained when he returns. Out of the main, jaune has always been the weakest when it came to fighting skills. Also he needed was time to catch up with the main and now they have a storytelling option to do it.

The thing is time works differently in the Ever After. The fruit would most likely only affect that place regardless if they bring it back to Remnant. But that's actually a good IF to be honest.

It's probably an aesthetic choice. As it's just alternative spelling of "Alex". Think of it like some people with the name Catherine spell it with a "K" unless it's meaning is somehow connected to her character, Alyx means Defender of humankind.

The cat doesn't know what happened and the cat looks different from when Jaune was with Alyx so inconclusion the cat itself has changed and has been reborn at least once before .... This ark is the story of what will be left behind, they kind hardcore foreshadow it about it in another episode with the merchant when he was like trade your happiness for this item. Team rwby has to deal with there trauma still and deal with there lost of there friends both Jaune and Rwby now have lost someone to Cinder, so to write out Jaune is kinda lame especially since they have an entire ark of him training to get better. I mean to be fair all we were told about Alyx is what we heard from Jaune. He said she was a cruel person because she would do whatever she had to get home. If that makes someone cruel in Jaune's eyes than I'm predicting a fight, or argument, between him and team RWBY as they seem like they are going to do whatever it takes to get home, I mean the six episodes we saw was them doing just that all thought what they have had to do so far to get back home has not been anything that harms anyone, for the most part as the Price will likely have to ascend once more so he can be better at his job of wining. I’m hoping Jaune’s youth will be restored to normal by the time they return to Remnant from Ever After (and No I don’t want him dying)
But ruby got her weapon back and she needs to get her mom emblem back from the teapot lady

I hope jaune keeps the skills he gained when he returns. Out of the main, jaune has always been the weakest when it came to fighting skills. Also he needed was time to catch up with the main and now they have a storytelling option to do it.

Before what if and I mean a big IF, the show runners are gonna use the fruits after returning to remnant and go back in time to volume 1 but Rwby and the gang are still their older selves they just see their younger selves gets ozpins help when he was still in his former body before ironwood went crazy and foil Salem or even go so far back in time they fight Salem before she jumps into the dark pool and living the rest of there lives in the past and ruby is her own great ancestor
The thing is time works differently in the Ever After. The fruit would most likely only affect that place regardless if they bring it back to Remnant. But that's actually a good IF to be honest.

It's probably an aesthetic choice. As it's just alternative spelling of "Alex". Think of it like some people with the name Catherine spell it with a "K" unless it's meaning is somehow connected to her character, Alyx means Defender of humankind.

I mean to be fair all we were told about Alyx is what we heard from Jaune. He said she was a cruel person because she would do whatever she had to get home. If that makes someone cruel in Jaune's eyes than I'm predicting a fight, or argument, between him and team RWBY as they seem like they are going to do whatever it takes to get home, I mean the six episodes we saw was them doing just that all thought what they have had to do so far to get back home has not been anything that harms anyone, for the most part as the Price will likely have to ascend once more so he can be better at his job of wining. I think if they want to go the route they set up for ever after they need to show some of this rather than tell it all, and doing the story book images with their "Alyx is evil because Alyx is evil" is not showing in my book. Also as a side note I get time works differently an all in ever after but how did Jaune get to ever after before the Alyx and her brother if it seems they went there long before team RWBY as Alyx writing a book and getting it remnant wide recognition must take at least a few years. I somewhat understand the RWBY girls showing up after Jaune as they did not fall to much before Jaune but Alyx fell years before Jaune so they should of already been in ever after even if it was only for a few moments.
