Funny how when you mentioned "card management" I instantly thought of Empire Of The Sun right before you mentioned it. I like how you guys talk through how a game actually plays. This one is next on my list.
It is one of our favorite CDGs and is really good. I'd love to play the game over and over to be honest. hya, any advice about learning the game? I sat down now 3 times trying to do it with the in-game tutorial (digital version) and it is not working..maybe its me but its tough :)
@@psyadj My advice is to wait for the full release, as the digital one (especially the tutorial is buggy and not good). A physical copy is an easy way to sit down and learn the game with a real rules manual at the moment, again as the digital option is lacking.

Will hopefully give you a better understanding of the flow of the game. Also worth Googling and checking the forums for advice about playing each side. Developing a full understanding of each side's objectives and how they play is the only way to start enjoying the game, imo
I received it (yet to play) but the only thing I was disappointed with was the fact that you can't play the deck multiple times. Do you miss that possibility?
I know you have this in your Top 10 games, Alexander, but there you speak about how good the game is with two players. What's your experience of playing it solitaire ? Is it as good ?
Love this game! Only just managed to get it to the table in the last week & it's not been packed away yet it's that GOOD!! Had a very interesting conversation today with a friend of the family, who rather disapproving, questions my morals on playing & getting enjoyment from a game were you play as a terrorist & set off WMDs! I'm wondering has anyone else out there had this dilemma & how have they "justified" this to their friends & colleague's as it was a conversation that made me feel very uncomfortable & made me question my moral compass?

You can play the deck multiple times, you just have to pick the scenario that allows it.
