I love the idea of humans being more futuristic about it all and being actively at war with the evils of cybertron and the cybertroinins knowing more of our language and using our insults as well
3 solid minutes of animation, I can already tell this took a long time to render, and even longer for you to animate all of it, all I can say is bravo and great work!
actually took longer to render 😂😂. The animation took a few weeks. the last month and a half has been dedicated to rendering and effects.
I see, forgot to take the volumetrics and particle effects into account, that definitely makes the rendering take a lot longer than usual 😅

Ok but this is amazing. The usage of sounds from the original films and synchronizing your own characters actions to that has got to be the second best part of this. The first best part is the transformations and the third best part is how Suneater shoots Deadwasp's missiles to knock him out of helicopter mode.
that fight was SO GOOD it reminded me of the live action battles when they were cool.
I really like the transformation sequence, the alt modes, and how well the characters look.
Very well done, intro was a good homage to the opening of 1st TF movie

Damm dude, this was like, better than the latter end of bay verse.
Very cool! I love the homage to Blackout's introduction, and the transformations always look great. Some of the motion timing was awkward or stiff, and some of the camera transitions were a little jarring, but overall, this is fantastic!

Maybe this is just me, but the fight between Suneater and Dreadswap feels kinda personal, like those two at some point were friends but the war drove them apart.
I also like how opposite are their fighting style. Suneater is shorter but he is agile, quick on his feet and know were to strike. Dreadswap is big and while of his movement are slow, he can make with raw power and heavy artillery.

Fucking sick bro. I loved this. Only criticism I have is a personal opinion that I just don’t like when big things move like they’re in slow motion bc they’re big. Watched it 1.25x and immediately loved it even more. But I know that’s a personal preference as some people prefer it. So good fucking job brother you killed it.

it’s just a regular rig setup. it’s like playing 3D tetris. not super hard

This animation is so SICK! Genuinely nice to see a bigger Autobot in live action that isn't Optimus Prime, though Suneater does rather resemble him.
What's the lore behind these two? Can they be counted amongst the elite, such as Elite Guard or Combaticons? Or are they basic footsoldiers? This fight seems personal, they're obviously nemesese, though were they close with each-other before the war, or did they only ever know eachother as enemies? Since Suneater *is* a Firetruck, is he a Rescuebot or does he just use a Firetruck as his alt mode? Are Dreadbot and Suneater alone, or are they part of a group? Well, Dreadwasp *does* blatantly report to someone in the beginning, is there a Commander character you plan on making?
there’s no lore that I made behind these two specifically. although I am making a miniseries where the characters will obviously have stories and motivations. these two won’t be in it.
the firetruck is funny because I initially made it as a gift for my gf she drew his design and it just so happened to resemble the one from rescuer bots. I didn’t even know it was a thing until ppl kept asking if it was him. they are both OCs.
a lot of ppl have said this fight seems personal perhaps it’s the choreography combined with the brief dialogue. ig I could just ask you what about it makes the fight seem personal ?
I will say also for my miniseries I have aiming up there is no great war between the autobots and decepticons. The main antagonists are he quintessons and a clone of megatron that goes by Megatronus Prime. There’s a who’s story behind why he calls himself that in the context of the story

First off, it is pretty well animated, though I find it a bit off-putting Dreadwasp looks a clone of Blackout from the first transformers in this one, and I think he looked better as a jet.
i’d say clone is a stretch but i’m glad you enjoyed the video!

This is the exact tone I wanted Transformers One to have. I love the more realistic/gritty tone of the combat and the complexity of the designs is just pure eye candy. It’s funny to me that a random animator online does a better job at capturing the feel of a war and combat than a multimillion dollar company.

@@DwarfDaddy the 2007 film was mostly good overall but the rest of the bay films sucked. I want a film that captures the scale of war and shows a more mature side of Transformers without the stupid toilet humour. Bumblebee kinda did that but didn’t commit to it. ROTB was just pure trash through and through, plus any interesting scenes were cut out like the Transit fight.
So I was hoping after washing the taste of that crap film out of my mouth that tf one would be what I wanted. Don’t tell me either that “I’m selfish for wanting a grounded tf film” it’s a brain dead take because at the end of the day this is entertainment, and if I’m not entertained then why should I pretend to like it? So of course I’m going to complain if the film looks like a crappy kids.
Riddle me this. If a live action lion king can exist then why can’t a live action Cybertron film exist too? Because paramount are too afraid to take a risk like that even though fans have been asking for one for years now. But they have no problem green lighting a crappy gi Joe crossover right? What a joke.
@@lukezuccaro5441 to answer your last question first, cause we didn’t have a “live action” lion king we had another animated remake of lion king that everyone agrees was worse than the original. Transformers One is about the same level of “live action” that a live action transformers movie would be like.
As for the rest of your essay long rant never i say you were selfish so do not quote things I did not say. Secondly the film hasn’t even come out yet so judging something from one trailer without seeing the full thing or at least waiting for reviews to come out is childish. Thirdly fans have been asking for a gi joe transformers crossover for a lot longer than a cybertron movie and thinking otherwise is just stupid and shortsighted.

It may be shocking but I didn’t actually believe they used real animals in the lion king remake or had real 30ft tall robots in Transformers. Secondly out of my 23 years of living on this planet I’ve never come across a single person who was a fan of gi Joe. Matter of fact everyone that I hear who talks about it says that it was awful. Thirdly hasbro tried making a gi Joe movie multiple times and each one flopped so they think that having it leach off of the Transformers ip will have it get traction which shows the levels of confidence they have left for that dying brand.
Fourthly I can say whatever I want about tf one going off of one trailer. First impressions are very important and what I got from the trailer was that it will be a lazy/generic family friendly kids film that pulls all of its punches. But hey if it appeals to the little kids that are still learning their alphabet then I guess it’s all good right? This movie isn’t going to be anything special and I’m fully confident in saying that. Transformers nowadays is a convoluted mess with no actual vision anymore. I get it was originally meant to sell toys but it atleast felt like the older shows and movies were made with an ounce of care and passion compared to the formulaic crap we get now.

Is he, like, a former Decepticon or, like, a member of some fringe Autobot group like the Wreckers or something? The name just made me curious, is all.
