Omg I love Dutch braids! I am so terrible at braiding and was never able to fish tail or make Dutch braids even though I tried so hard :( I’m getting tingles just thinking about my hair being braided

You should tilt your microphone up for a better recording 'cause the blue yeti doesn't record much in that direction. (or maybe you're avoiding popping/blowing sounds?)
As for the echo, I think you mean reverb, which would be an effect added in an editing software just like you said! Not really familiar with garageband but if you check in the edit section, it has something called 'track reverb'. You can mess around with the settings to your liking but not sure how good of an effect it is lol. In any case asmr singing with no effects is good to me.
