One moment that blew me away is when the father stopped behind Mitche's back just to say "Im watching your mistakes" Like...what? Hows that helpful to anything?
The minute I saw Mexican chefs in an Irish restaurant, my first thought was "I hope they got some experience in Irish cuisine" Seems that they didn't and no one's giving them guidance.
There's no way that old Irish owner knew anything about Irish cooking. In his generation maybe even today it's the women of Ireland who did all the cooking and know all the secrets.
When an owner of a failing restaurant says they dont know why people arent coming and dont realize their food sucks they should never ever be in business
It's really not for everyone. I tried it and failed hard then found an office job that I'm actually excelling at that requires slower action, no managing others but still technical skill. I thought I was a failure but turns out I was just in the wrong place.
Why the fuck does everyone post the same shit? " Who is here in 2024?" It's literally the same garbage in every video on TH-cam. Are people that desperate for likes?
Yelp reviews and Trip Advisor reviews were mostly positive after the episode aired. There are compliments to most of the menu items but also a few negative comments including one alleging she was made sick from a tainted sandwich. Some regulars on Chowhound said that they preferred the previous menu and the new food was lacking flavour. Grasshopper Also closed and was sold in October 2012 and reopened with new management, new staff and a new makeover.
Watched an episode the other night (McCools?) where Gordon taught them how to make a classic Shepherds pie, he made it with beef and introduced it as Shepherds Pie making me think ... No Gordon, that's Cottage Pie.
You know when you get a call from Gordon you know you have the respect from the King himself and when he asks you for a favour you would even cancel your wedding day for the man to keep that respect.
Regardless of him being right or wrong, Chief should be barred from that place. He's likely the biggest cause of Mitch being in the mental state he's in.
7:42 the sheer helplessness on his face ahhh 😂 I know a lot of people think he is arrogant but I just think he's really cute. I love his lack of filter and sense of humour 😂😂
I've watched this ep 30 times, and have asked "how the fuck is the entire kitchen for this Irish pub latino and how the fuck aren't they fired?" 30 times.
Employing untrained cooks who lack proficiency in English can lead to kitchen miscommunication, which can negatively impact food quality by causing confusion in recipe instructions, inadequate food preparation, and inconsistent taste. This, in turn, can lead to dissatisfied customers and a decline in the restaurant's reputation.
The genius of KN is that each episode is wiped from your memory the next day, so you can rewatch each episode indefinitely

That would be hard for anyone to unlearn after so long, let alone 3 days instantly, that takes time, patience, and understanding. Especially with a highly competent Michelin star Chef like Gordon as a consultant/tutor.
Lots of people find it very hard to speak up for themselves in these situations when they haven't been taught them early on in childhood or generally handling relationships and their respective boundaries.
Annette was lovely... these may be staged or played up for reality tv but there is an underlying truth in the management relationships.
Father in law has evrey right. It's his money being spaffed up the wall!
@@liuzhou if he’s so bothered by it he should’ve done more and stepped in. Instead he treated his family like shit ruining his restaurants morale.
One moment that blew me away is when the father stopped behind Mitche's back just to say "Im watching your mistakes"
Like...what? Hows that helpful to anything?
Then do the job yourself old man
To me it was completely his fault that the kitchen sank! Notice that no one was pressuring him until he started having massive delays with the food!
This is the first one I've seen where nobody tried to blame everyone besides themselves at the beginning. 10 Points for being honest!
You know things are gonna go sideways when he orders french onion soup. Every time. Lol.
"Chef Ramsey Immediately Spits Out His Food" - could be every episode's title. 😂
The minute I saw Mexican chefs in an Irish restaurant, my first thought was "I hope they got some experience in Irish cuisine"
Seems that they didn't and no one's giving them guidance.
There's no way that old Irish owner knew anything about Irish cooking. In his generation maybe even today it's the women of Ireland who did all the cooking and know all the secrets.
I never thought I'd see an Irish Pub on this channel that's run by actual Irish people
With mexican cooks
When an owner of a failing restaurant says they dont know why people arent coming and dont realize their food sucks they should never ever be in business
Mitch was really just not built to work in the restaurant business.
It's really not for everyone. I tried it and failed hard then found an office job that I'm actually excelling at that requires slower action, no managing others but still technical skill. I thought I was a failure but turns out I was just in the wrong place.
Who has balls of steel, arrogant, and a heart of gold all in one??GR
Me ❤
Gordon is honestly such a chill dude but when he's mad its just because he cares about the well being of people and he's passionate
I swear their all saying bitch instead of mitch 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The fish that looks like it was attacked by cats lmao 🤣
I just love when gordon says "fck me" 😂 i LOL every time. I throw that word around like almost any other. He sounds so passionate when he says it 😂
Watching in 2024 anyone? 👍
No
No, it’s 2021
No, it's 2009.
Why the fuck does everyone post the same shit? " Who is here in 2024?" It's literally the same garbage in every video on TH-cam. Are people that desperate for likes?
Yup! This stuff is timeless! 🕥📅
It makes me mad when cooked and uncooked meat are kept together in the same place, you could
f*****g kill someone.
Classic Gordon Ramsey line .
"if he was an air traffic controller, he'd be landing planes at the wrong airport" 😂
You know when you get a call from Gordon you know you have the respect from the King himself and when he asks you for a favour you would even cancel your wedding day for the man to keep that respect.
There are times in a year...
It's the times for binge watching Chef Ramsay and somehow my sorrows and depressions feel a bit less bad.❤
I guess this gordon is the most talented guy in the world: psychologist, marriage counselor, stylist, chef
Regardless of him being right or wrong, Chief should be barred from that place. He's likely the biggest cause of Mitch being in the mental state he's in.
16:09 Guy had the audacity to laugh in the back, smh
Aw. The lamps aren't that bad 😄 I think they'd look better in combination with a modern, more minimalistic baseline.
7:42 the sheer helplessness on his face ahhh 😂 I know a lot of people think he is arrogant but I just think he's really cute. I love his lack of filter and sense of humour 😂😂
I didn't want the video to end, it was very good to watch and eye catching!!
Eye catching? More like breath taking
nose twisting and nipple twirling
@@monobiteme6014 Nose diving!
How can anyone mess up a cottage pie that badly...
Having Mexican chefs that have probably never eaten it in their life lol. It’s like if I made Mexican food being from New Zealand
Frankly speaking, I would probably mess up cottage pie that badly considering I've never eaten one.
I had cottage pie once (I think, might have been shepherd's), I hated it. I would certainly mess it up. Then again, I'm not Irish.
I cant' believe James was available THIS EXACT NIGHT...wow Chef Ramsey is unbeatable.
I was thinking about that too, James must be so busy but hey, it's chef Ramsay
@@da_yanti.f.6363 James is psychic, he knew help would be needed..
Actually he was in Tenerife drinking Sangrias on the beach, but when the beacons of Gordon are lit, James answers!
@@vhoicoo Really? How do you know?
@@sylviebourguignon1 I drink and I know things...
I've watched this ep 30 times, and have asked "how the fuck is the entire kitchen for this Irish pub latino and how the fuck aren't they fired?" 30 times.
I don’t know what’s worse to hear. “Two minutes” or “What is that?” 😂
Step one...fire all the "chef's"
The first time I agree with Gordon‘s oppinion on how bad the food looks xD That Onion soup looked so weird 😭
I LOVE THE WIFE FOR STANDING BY HER HUBBY AGAINST HER DAD. thats how it should be. Cherish your partner over everyone else.
Mitch needs new glasses! He was squinting at those tickets like they written in Chinese!
Idk why they’re all attacking Mitch, maybe one of them should step up and stop treating him like garbage.
how is the cooking staff not fired? chef is just as guilty as the manager!
I'd be miserable too if my father in law was bullying me every single day of my life for 20 years.
He should of got a different job then
You. You. You. You. And you fired
I love how they always catch the chiefs in 4k and just don't tell the owners.
