Many thanks , the GT is now getting on for 20 years old now so was surprised the plastic tails were still there on the sidelight fittings. A little fiddly and the replacement H6 bulbs, not cheap to replace.
Thank you very much friend, from Spain, I needed to have in my hand the flashers, because the orange internal plastics, are loose and the light is not adequate.👌👍👍
Wow i have a v6 2005 gt and mine does not have those clips on the back of the headlight. It has the screws holding a smaller cover on and it is impossible to change bulbs with the headlight still in the car on the right hand side due to air con pipes. Headlight needs to be removed from car. Big job
I also got the headlight housing with the screws (2008 - 1.8TS). I can take the covers off without removing the headlight. But it's an very frustrating job that takes me about 30 mins per side. I use an flexible screwdriver and a very small ratchet to reach the bottom screws.
Hahaha, it can be tricky but I've devised a tactic. I turn the side lights on and navigate them looking from the front of the headlight. There's a video when I put them back on the 147 th-cam.com/video/lA7bBOh61oc/w-d-xo.html

I will probably do an upgrade to LED, so I am not sure if any modifications are needed yet. When it comes to Xenon, I am pretty sure it does require some modifications...
I swapped my halogens for LED light a while back. If you get an led with a canbus adapter it's plug and play but it's hard to get the light leveled right
@@arcgarage nl.aliexpress.com/item/32810232973.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.7a434c4djiZRGq I got the third (silver) option. It works fine without any errors. You can seperate the H7 adapter plate from the led and cooler to install them properly. I also swapped the side light bulbs (the ones with the stick) for led's because it looked wierd to have the low beam led and have the side light yellow light next to it
Can you please explain how did you gain acces to position lights. I can even see them let alone touch them thus remove them. Are they on a high or low beam "compartment" ... they're kinda in the middle of those two.

Appreciate it. Here I was thinking I needed pliers cause I couldn't see the top of the spring
It is fairly easy...
thanks so much! Really helpful and pretty good camera angles,.
Glad it was helpful
Good camera angles! must have been hard to record and get the bulbs its very tight in there
Thanks, it was challenging...

That is a lot of work for a bulb...
@@arcgarage It certainly is, especially when i installed led's from ebay and they only lasted a few months and have to do it again.

I like how you skip putting the side light bulb back in lol 😂😂
And to say you need hands the size as a five year old !

@@arcgarage That's how I do it. Impossible otherwise. I have done at least 4 over the years, can do it in 10 mins with the lights on now haha

Do i need to do any modifications to install xenon or led lights for the high beam or the low beam?

Great video! I'm on 159 so I still can't change the high beam lamp ((
Thanks, yes it can be tricky...
Thanks for the vid! Same way for the 147 facelift?! No changes in the way of doin so?
It is very similar
What type of bulb is the indicator light?

Yes, they are in the middle, you got a little knob to pull out the housing...
@@arcgarage
But i can't even see them, plus I have LED high beams so that gets in the way a lil bit.
In which middle ... low or high?
@@CartmanTheGreat59 Between low and high, take the leds out to gain more access
I have lost both of my headlight bulb retaining clips and the ones for the bulbs are totally different to Alfa ones...where can I find some in the UK!
I doubt you can find them new, I would check the junkyard...
