I will be joining your Chatelaine SAL- butterfly lace mandala. I don’t know how long it will take me to kit it up. It’s a lot of floss, specialty threads, beads and bling. Which is why I love it

Just found your channel and I so enjoyed your video today- I’m a new subscriber… so many beautiful cross stitch projects you’re working on. I love the hardanger piece you’re planning to start. I just love hardanger and my favorite designer, whose pieces, most of them anyways, have multiple specialty stitches and sections of hardanger, is Victoria Sampler. She also has many youtube videos on instructions of multiple specialty stitches. Also, one other flosstuber, who no longer posts, is Stitching with a Smile. She has excellent videos primarily on hardanger… starting with the kloster blocks, the cutting and the different filling stitches. I think if you watch these two ladies’ videos, and do a little practice work, you’ll be an old pro on hardanger in no time. Looking forward to your next video.

The algorithm randomly gave me your video, probably because i recently discovered sals. On hardanger remember that you will be cutting at some point. Make sure to pay attention to the instruction books where it explains how to place the kloster blocks in relation to the weave of the fabric. And dont carry the thread on the back over where you will cut. It will get in the way and may be visible.

Yoshi, Thank you for the musical suggestions. I have been a huge musical fan since I was a kid thanks to my dad, and have not kept up with more current musicals for various reasons. I am a season ticket holder to a small music theater and get to see some newer shows but they have been doing more old ones lately. I no longer work in Boston, so I don't tend to go in town to see musicals so I am limited in what I see. I was not familiar with Dear Mr. Hansen or Come From Away and have now looked into them so am excited to find them somewhere. THANK YOU. As for the dirty hands, I get it. During the summer my stitching drops way off due to I am a gardener and my hands get dirty. Totally get it. Good luck with the Hardanger. I have a Victoria Sampler with some in it, so maybe that will motivate me to tackle it..... Your suggestion of a practice piece made me laugh because I don't know why I never thought of that.....Good thinking. That Victoria Sampler might finally get started some day. Have fun stitching. See you on your next video. Thanks again for the musical suggestions. I totally agree about the Sloppy stitching sisters. They are so funny.. LOVE THEM.

@@conniecrossan4422 I got into musicals around 2019. There are so many I would love to see, but I am limited with what comes into town. I agree with you on dirty hands and stitching. I always wash my hands before I start and never sew if I am doing any decorating or handy work, or at least make an area safe for sewing in the evening to relax. I love your conversion of the Lighthouse, I enjoy all your conversions and they give me ideas for my own. I am currently working on the blue conversion for Christmas Elf by Nora Corbet. I have done three red, - all gifts - and the blue version is the fourth gift. I have also converted Nora Corbet’s Fern to represent the wine grape fairy, that was fun and it is another gift for a friend who has recently planted some wine grapes. I have been looking at the Chatalane patterns ( not sure I spelt that correctly🤨) with a view to a new start in January. Please keep up the good work and the videos, I enjoy them. 😊

Right now I think I am going to follow Jenn’s game with a project assigned to each token and do the number of stitches on that project that the token is meant to do. But that’s for the non-focus pieces. Then there are focus pieces which I might do a dice game for. And a few weeks from now when I have a finish and my active WIPs changes, I’ll probably have to come up with new games or something.
