Thank you so much Gabrielle I really really enjoyed watching you creating this gorgeous and beautiful piece. Yes, they are crochet hook’s. I’m learning so much from watching you, and I really really love ❤everything you create. We are the ones who are thankful for you. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤❤❤
I found your channel by surfing for artists trying out watercolors that I just purchased but haven't yet received. I am a little OCD when I make a purchase and I like to stalk every artist using it to see how they use it. However, I am NO ARTIST 😁 but I like to collect (ahem, hoarde) art supplies. The only problem is that I end up being overwhelmed not knowing what to paint, color, or create so I just end up swtaching or not creating at all (plus I am usually super busy with my business). The main reason for my comment is that you are a kindred spirit. You pulled out your papers towels and said you use them for the same reason I do. You said you like to learn about EVERYTHING so you watch documentaries at night often before bed. I do the SAME. I even browse YT a lot because most people on here are teaching something. I have ADHD and I do puzzles and swatch paints and color in coloring books to help my mind relax or think through problems. I'm most excited about how you go about creating your art. You have given me so much inspiration to just put something on paper and not try to be perfect. This will help me develop my own style. Thank you.
I am so happy to connect with you! ❤️ It does seem we do have a lot in common including the fact that it took me a long time to be able to say I am an artist 😉 A person with such an interest in art supplies and a desire to learn about art has an artist’s soul. (At least that’s how I see it. And at the same time, it’s totally ok if you’re not feeling ready to say it.) Interestingly enough, I was pondering the question “What/who is an artist?” just this week. I often ask myself his question because my inner critic is still pretty strong even after years of practice in my work. Anyway, thank you for making the time to connect and to watch my videos. ❤️ I hope you will continue to feel inspired and that this inspiration will encourage you to use your art supplies to experiment and play. As a person who loves to learn, I promise you will learn a lot by doing this. And, if you’re not sure what to do, try repeating what I’m doing. Or what other artists are doing. I taught myself to paint by looking at artwork I like and trying to replicate what I was seeing. Remember that your marks will be different and there is so much beauty in that. You’re right that your own style will develop by doing this. Every mark you make with you hands is yours. ❤️ Oh and yes yes yes to art being such a great way to help us work through challenges! It has helped me so much too 🥰 Happy creating, kindred spirit! 🎨
Wow! Gabrielle! Tu as bcp de talent! You have lots of talent! Ta tante m’a dit que tu étais sur TH-cam! Alors je suis venue voir! Impressionnant! Ton ouvrage!👏❤️
Hi Elsie ☺️ Yes, I think I figured that out at some point 😂 It's funny how so many things can have specific uses and not so specific uses all at once. Love it! Thank you so much for being here 💕 I'm glad you're enjoying my videos. 🤗
Merci beaucoup Diane ❤️ La plage est sans doute une de mes grandes sources d’inspiration aussi! Quand je serai de retour au NB, j’irai prendre de longues marches sur les belles plages de Cap-Pelé. ❤️
Your painting turned out so wonderful! That is a really great color that you made. I will have to look through my watercolors to see if I still have Decadent Pies. Such fun! Diane
Thank you so much Diane ❤️ I really appreciate your encouragements and kindness 🥰 I am so pleasantly surprise by how versatile and lovely the color in that palette are 😊 happy creating!
Holà Isabel! 😊 todos los productos que uso para completar las pinturas en mis videos se enumeran en la descripción del video. 😉 ¡Espero que esto ayude! gracias por mirar y por tomarse el tiempo para conectarse. ❤️
Hi Jason ☺️ This was cut from an old window we had in our house. My husband used a skill saw to cut it and it worked well, but it helps to sand the sides after cutting it. We tried cutting the boards by scoring the plexiglass and that didn’t work so well. I hope this helps! Thank you for making the time to connect ☺️
@@gabrielleannacormierart finally found some online that didn’t see before. I will need to sand it too I guess, lol. Can’t wait to try it ! Love your videos BTW.
Hi Gabrielle, what kind and what brand of tape do you use to fix your paper (because I try different tape and when I retry it, it tear my paper) ? Thank you very much !
Hi Chantale ❤️ I have used many different brands of tape. The one that’s currently on my pegboard is the Dick Blick’s brand of art tape. The tape can make a difference but the two things that seems to matter most is how I pull the tape off my paper (pulling away from the paper slowly works best) and the quality of my paper. On cheaper brands of paper (Canson for instance), no matter what tape I use, the paper will often tear. When the paper tears or pulls away from my paper, I can usually fix it by using watered down matte medium. I hope this helps! Happy creating! 🎨☺️
Hi Elsie ☺️ No worries! You know, it's possible to reverse that by either clicking on it again or clicking the thumbs up sign. 😉 I appreciate you making the time to watch my video and reach out. 💕
