I think that reason Colin as acted the way he has in the first two season is because he is a little bit preoccupied with his family drama/obligations during those two season of the show to notices that he has more than friend feelings for Pen. I think that this season we will see Colin start to grasp the fact that his feelings are not of the brother to his sister kind but of the romantic variety his trip will mostly give him the time to his thoughts when it comes to Pen and also this seasons romantic social season should give him the place to finally show Pen that he really does/has loved her before he even know what his feelings for her were. I hope Pen is not in any of the those god awful dress that are the color pink and yellow. I think Pen is really going to make him work for her love after his stupid move with the guys at the end part of the season. I love this song for them.
I love the way he looks at her at 2:55 because that's not the look of friendship that looks to me at least like he's in love with her but he can't admit it to himself

I hope that Colin has seen the light and has come to realize that he's in love with her before he loses her to someone else but considering he said that he'd always look after her last season he'd probably find an excuse to just chase them off or scare them away from her but she deserves to be put first and I wonder if Fife saw her at the party last season and that's why he asked the question to Colin but I hope that she at least gives him a hard time in season 3 after how much he hurt her last season
