Eunkwang really went of his way to make the boys' dreams come true. Both Jongho and Seungmin mentioned that they've always wanted to do something like this i.e do something outside of their group that really showcases their talent. Let's be honest, however amazing their respective groups are, it has identity/genre. Some are EDM/POP, ballad, cutesy songs, etc. Jongho and Seungmin are hungry for the opportunity to hone their vocal skills without being boxed in the type of songs their groups usually offer to the GP. SKZ were surprised by Seungmin's vocal range when he performed, and i think it's because he never really got to sing something that full showcases his vocal skills. Their voice were not strained while singing (even w/ the high notes), you can hear that their voice were comfortable. Their voices were pleasant to the ears because they were comfortable and they didn't have to sing something that limits their ability or sing something that their voice is not YET ready to do. I always believe that people will feel comfortable listening to your singing when your voice is comfortable; and this applies to this situation.
So Eunkwang arranging this song and making sure that they can showcase their potentials LIVE was something that I'm really grateful of. He worked so hard to arrange this song, he also applied the BTOB BLUE's technique in singing a song, and i guess it shows during their performance.
I really have to thank him. As a Stay, I knew that Seungmin's vocals were good but he still blew me over. His potential really came out during this performance.

My friend asked me to listen to this song. The first time I listened to it, I already fell in love with it. These guys did a great job expressing themselves in this song. Based on how they sang it, I think there's a deeper reason/meaning why they chose this song.
Can I just say that this is heavenly? Each of them is skillful as a singer, but putting them as a unit could just prove that they could be one of the vocal units in KPop. Their harmonies are tight, that's why they sound good together. At first, listen, I thought they're a vocal unit from SM. Jongho sounds like Baekhyun, Seungmin sounds like a combination of DO-Chanyeol, and Eunkwang resembles Jonghyun/Onew vocals. As a unit, they're soulful as SJ-KRY. This is just my opinion.
Sorry I just came across your comment and the part regarding Jongho where you said he sounds like Baekhyun is actually amazing, I don't know if you knew already when commenting this but actually the vocal coach that thought EXO's Baekhyun and NCT Haechan is also teaching Ateez's Jongho!

I kid you not... when I watched the live broadcast I got goosebumps after goosebumps, everytime seungmin opened his mouth, his voice even made me cry (first time I cried because of how beautiful a voice was) and then eunkwang and jongho sung so beautifully I just couldn't do anything but feel it (idk how to explain it but I'm blown away by this performance) all 3 of them touched my heart srsly. I see a super bright future for them and I hope they continue improving and showcasing their growth. I just simply could not have asked for a better vocal unit other than this right here. I mean I already support seungmin but jongho and eunkwang you got my support I hope to see more of them
