I have to say I really liked seeing this video for it is far more realistic than any I have seen before. Liked how despite how much she enjoys what she is doing she was also very REAL about the struggles IN and OUTSIDE of the classroom.
I heard a teacher saying the remote villages hold annual puppy hunts. Is this true? Oh also supposedly a lot of abuse to women & children. I'm sure its not everywhere, but is this really happening in villages in AK? It appears you must be fairly thick skinned to teach in the remote villages up there. God bless the teachers who CHOOSE to go teach the children uo there.
Puppy hunts no, abused bc of alcoholism and drug addiction but not out in public and not in every village, throughout Ak tbh. Native kids pick on the teacher bc they’re new in the small village and we struggle with food bc “white” men are telling natives how to hunt and live on the native land they roamed on

Honest take here. I use to be a teacher. I didn't give a shit about the community or the kids I got. That's why I could not be a teacher.
