EBay fees are scandalous
Yeah it’s a hard pill to swallow. But we pay the fees to get the worldwide audience, which I find pretty fair.

Nice one. Enjoyed the journey and the honesty about prices and time wasters. Sometimes it can feel like TH-cam resellers only pick up amazing high value items and they will get the value they say on the video. It's refreshing to see the process from start to finish for such a large item and the packing skills were great 👍

I use gaffer tape for those extra strong boxes, you only need to use one length per join in the box as it is incredibly strong.
Well done on such a great sale. Always so exciting when a high value item that you have put lots of effort into finally sells. Can't believe the cheek of the guy that after going out of your way to 'field test it with him' asked to borrow it!

Hi your tip at the end off the video as a bit off a problem I work for Royal Mail and when you put tape over a thermal label it starts to raise the print so you can loose the address or the tracking number which defeats the object test it on thermal print yourself

@@JammyDodgerFlips really! It’s good, I use it more than other platforms. I think there’s also bonuses for creators, extra features. But I don’t make TH-cam vids. It certainly improves usage bc when I use it logged out I remember - Ads?!

Thanks! Always levelling up, got some plans for this new year but we’ll wait and see how it goes. EBay should stay relatively similar to how it’s always been.
q4 sales have almost doubled since q3, but I’ve been focusing on more quality stock, paying up for the right items etc.

Good upload, you did well packing that up. I consider myself good at packaging, you need a bit of imagination and skill with packing some items up. I think the heaviest item I sent to date was 25kgs! Great profit there, 👍👍😀

Yep, it’s all about the box, I make boxes from scratch and source for free from green recycling bins, I’m not a snob and boxes fri post office are not cheap🤗

Yes to a top rated seller but not sure what you mean by 10% discount. Not that I’m aware of.
@@JammyDodgerFlips it’s a discount given to top rated seller. I had it for the last 2 years. They take the sells and the amount of mi ey your making. Look into it. It slashes the final fee you pay.

Scammers on ebay they get iteam and says it came damaged ect so they get money bk 😮
So you know if you sell anything on eBay the buyer has to legally pay for it, I have done this and taken a online court action and win everytime and they pay the fees

Seems a lot of hassle, I just cancel after 4 days and re-list the item. Happens all the time 😅
Not going to take some to court for accepting an offer and not paying, imagine that… there’s always another buyer

I have no idea how anyone other than eBay can make any money, I have just sold an item for £350 and they have taken £50 in charges off me which wipes out any profit I was hoping to make after shipping.
The fees are high, but the audience is the reason. Worldwide audience for a pretty fair fee, just gotta work it into your buy price.

.Did you say i only paid 40 pounds so I want 92 pounds plus 8 profit. If he been returned rejected on those two times could lost 2 lots postage .So now it could be returned third time🤣😂
