"Getting comfortable with what you sound like", that took years for me but man, that's the fundamental thing you need so that you can improve from a healthy place!

I asked before I'll ask again, why he barrel look like that?

Its just preference. The shape of the barrel affects the sound, and how it feels for the player. In Goines' case he has a narrow barrel, which cause more focused air and a more focused sound.

The the bore of the barrel is not that different than other barrels, but the lack of material makes it lighter and more responsive.

This was so nice. I have heard the advice before to play scales and long notes to improve, but I like how he explains it and demonstrates it. I would love to have this guy be a teacher for me.

That is a b flat clarinet (the basic one) and they can be pretty expensive.... if your looking to try it I would recommend buying a used on (I got my used one for about $400-$600)

In the course of learning, Victor, were you recommended to (or decide to) change the way you physically inhaled and exhaled air?

Marvellous. But take a look at Martin Schmidt-Hahn s clarinet sound with a german-system-clarinet as well
