Prompt for week 110 is #Smile. I picked ‘I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll’ covered by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts in 1981. The song was written by Alan Merrill and Jake Hooker - and first recorded by the Arrows (a British rock band) six years earlier. Merrill gave co-writer credit to Hooker as part of settling a debt.
Using my Spark Mini amp and custom electric Kelly Stillfield tiki surf ukulele. The spark mini was recently soaked when the cuddy of my boat flooded. It has since dried out and sounds like new. I hang it on the wall now, as added protection from future water issues.
