There's a short part, at the start of the movie, set in the '50s about a family on vacation, he's the father. His role is small but he makes the movie.

Watching the Highlander movie from a young age has conditioned me to think that whenever a woman with hair that big goes into a New York apartment with a man centuries old, someone is going to get stabbed and then sex will be had. I don't know whether to be relieved or disappointed that's not what happened here.

Check out the 1932 classic Chandu the Magician. It was an obvious inspiration for Doctor Strange (and is a pretty excellent movie in its own right).
