How can you be my trainer I plan to come to prime
Rex I used your driver code. Started my TNT today. LVERHA is my code if you can track for the $$$
@@dinosworld199 when you speak to your recruiter tell them you would like STREXA to train you. They can pull up all my info with that. Thanks 😊
I applied but they're only hiring team out of CA. So off to Knight or Wilson?
They told me to come back when I have 3 months experience 🤷🏽♂️
This is ONE THING! And I’ll say it again! THIS IS ONE OF THE THINGS!!! I HATE! About the trucking industry the fact that you would have to share a truck with a complete stranger! I did it for 2 weeks and 4 days and it was BRUTAL!!!! I bet with Rex it’s chill asf but man! Some truckers that are trainers and they are awful with hygiene 🤢
I just got out of school for my CDL and had a pre-hire with a company set up by the school. they said beyond training they only had team driving opportunities available and I asked about how long I could expect to get a solo run, they said about 8 months. After not being excited at all for that and then hearing stories from some of my trainers, I declined the offer.
@@driver8703 you made the right choice because let me tell you something that’s how these company gets you and f people over they tell you all the things you wanna hear then when you sign a contract with them well you just sign you’re life away for x amount of months yeah no amount of money would convince me to do team driving I rather drive a box truck at that point
Tyler’s eyes!😍Making eye contact with him must be intense! I would literally fall in love with him! ❤😍
Rex is a great guy and I am sure he is doing great things as a trainer…. His trainer taught him great
Definitely a great opportunity going company. Yup, get that life insurance for everyone. My wife and I signed up in our early 30's. The health care is good for the family too. You have a lot going on. Take care of yourselves on the road and be safe. It's great seeing you again. God bless.
Great to see you doing your thing mane keep up the training
Been missing you Rex, # 1 Prime TH-camr.
You take the time to explain everything and you do it well, along with having the patience to train a green horn.

Hey Rex welcome back. Missed you and your videos. How's the family.
All good 👍
I've been thinking about coming to Prime Inc., turning 21 in September. but was hoping to get into the hopper bottom instead, but if they ain't accepting anyone for that guess tanker is fine.
Eating Mexican food while on the road. That’s brave! We were in Mexico a few months back. Let’s just say don’t taco and fly!
Good to see you back making videos Rex!!!! Missed having you on. Do you like the international or the frieight liner better? Stay safe and God bless.
International rides smoother but definitely miss the freightliner for sure lol
I’m in TNT now and it’s taking forever to get these 60K 😭😭 love the video though
The only way I go to prime it’s if you’re going to be my trainer. I called them yesterday
Wasgood rex
When u go to California park in Fontana at cowboys burger and bbq it’s $20 to park but if u spend $20 in food parking for the night is free
Appreciate the tips bro!
If you're going to be a company driver, look up TRD. They pay 65 per mile and its much more simple than prime. No pumps, no load / unload.
You were in my hometown of Marshall mo
Finally, you dropped one where you been 🤨
I know I know bro I’ve been REALLY busy! Got a lot of things in the background I’m trying to take care of 😊
Nice I would like a CDL and train
what is your model number Qualcomm for ELD. I like how it looks but cant find it anywhere
Here 🎉
Rex…….. you traded in WHAT!?!?
I’m trying to get my permit right now when I get think I can get hired on?
God i would love to know how cheap prime is doing that vernon ca load for back to Missouri 😂
$8100 for a lease driver that includes the fuel surcharge!
@@truckingwithrex for both loads goin down and back?
@@kickass-dm6ew I’m a company driver and we deadheaded all the way from Missouri to cali got loaded and delivered to receiver in Missouri. Prime actually had me bobtail from Springfield MO to east St. Louis tank wash grab a clean trailer then deadhead to Cali. Total miles 3725. That’s the reason I was running it “2072 empty miles”. $8100 for the 1 load as a lease driver.
Doesn't it suck not having any privacy. How long do you plan to train?
I thought it was 50K miles for the training, did they change it again? By the way I just got my permit a few weeks ago and my tanker’s endorsement yesterday. I used your driver code on my app💯
It’s 35k for tanker, I believe that 50k your talking about is for reefer 🤔
@@truckingwithrex Okay thank you cause I been watchin different videos and I be hearin one or da otha😂but I trust yo word💯🤟🏾
Update I couldn’t get into da tanker division cause I live in Florida so my only options were reefer or flatbed so I chose reefer
Respect on going company. I’m sitting here thinking IF you can get 3500+ per week miles then training is worth it.
Plus when you drive 4,000 miles in a week prime gives you a $500 team bonus. So there is money in training on the company side with ZERO risk.
Are the company trucks governed at 58 instead of 65 from a lease truck?
62 on cruise control and 58 on the pedal
Great to see another video that Jetta scoots with the turbsky on it do you do both food grade and non as a company driver. Also if how does it work if you sign up for tanker run your 35K miles then you want to switch to reefer😊
If you wanna switch divisions you would reach out to your dispatcher “people do this a lot”
How can you be up sitting in passenger seat all day? Then drive all night?
Right
Oh I’m not sitting in the passenger seat all day then driving all night. I’m in the back sleeping of my trainee needs my help “he wakes me up”. Usually I’m up 2hrs when he 1st starts driving then I hop in the back to try and get some sleep. Every day and or load is different sometimes we can shutdown at night. Just depends 🤷♂️
Was that a rendering company where you picked up that lard?
Yes
Do you like company driving over lease driving with prime
THB I like company better “right now” rates are low especially election years. So it’s best to be running company until after the election is over. The above is from a lot of experienced owner operators. Hope this helps!
How often do you come to California?
Been with prime since 10/21 only been to cali 3X
Let's see if you're a real good trainer what is the first thing you teach your student about doing a pre-trip Anybody can answer if they know the answer
Do prime tanker drive go out to California to?
We have 3 customers in California “us tanker guys don’t go very often”
How many miles on average do you run with a trainee on weekly basis
3800
BRO NO SHIT ITS CLEAN.. THEY WANT YOUR MONEY
こんにちは♪楽しく視聴
How long it take do tnt miles?
10-12 weeks
How much home time you get with prime?
Usually running through the house 1-2x a week just depends really…
Okay than not to bad
I say get a Chevy. Lol
why so many new drivers ?....think about it
Wrong "to" in title. To not too
whats the gps you have?
Garmin Dezl OTR1010
So about 3 months?
Yep! your spot on!
I thought you were buys house you shouldn’t buy a car if you are buys house
@Peterbilt_389 it was just a question I had thought he was going to buy a house and if you are buying a house and you buy a car or something big thay can turn you down Mr negative so keep you’re big mouth shut if you don’t know what’s going on I am sick of you keyboard warriors spouting there big traps off of you don’t like what I said shut the f up
House is being pushed back, so jumped at the chance to get a newer car “continue to build up my credit” etc.
@@truckingwithrex good job keep up the good work Rex
The fact that your wearing crocks young brother while training tells me a lot about how serious you take the job you are doing. Smh and your trainer should've empathized that when you came in the truck. I bet you didn't have on crocks in the yard training to get your CDL. 👊
18 grand 185 month x 60 your Lincoln plus down payment. Dude really
I put 8k down, wanted to keep my payment under $185
