Great show Drew. The history of the farm is most interesting to me. I remember remarking a few years ago how much energy was forged by the ancestors to the farm in just the rock fences all around. The brick buildings appear to be ancient. I am 79 year old Bohemian.. All the people in my ancestry are gone. When I was younger I could ask a member about such and such and so and so. Heritage is too easily lost. Load up on as much of family lore as you can. It is enriching. Dennis in Seattle.

Hi Drew great videos and I really enjoy watching them. Especially as you're a fellow Scot with a similar accent. I was born in Lanark.
I'm curious to hear where in Scotland you are? Are you south west of Lanark?

@JohntyNich the end of the 90s 98 99, I can't remember the exact year. In 97, they removed the cubicles and went to straw bedding. Good idea, apart from the penny pinching on straw. A few years later, the dairy man left as did the lowland shepherd.
