Also you can look for private rentals on sites like ImmobilienScout24, Immonet, and eBay Kleinanzeigen, and contact university housing offices for assistance tailored to your specific needs.
I am not a legal expert, but Swastika is permitted for the religious use. Read Strafgesetzbuch Section 86a. But socially, people may not be aware of the rules and you may get into trouble. Display only if you are comfortable with your neighbors and likewise. E.g. you may want to make Swastika outside your apartment in festivals such as Diwali. Be tactful, inform your explore your neighbour's attitude towards it.
