So the EVO was held back by using the old tyres and not evolving it enough. Good they included the spacers to fit the DT02 wheels, when you track test it you will have to do 2 runs one on each set of tyres.
Heck yeah! Looks like you’re getting that dialed in pretty good! Now you need to go race that thing against similar classic RCs, bet you’ll hang in with the best of them. Sweet! 👍
Insane how wel that workied.. I did similar with the terra scorcher and tt02, but theres no comparison to that change with the hornet. Great vid and idea Brent.....
Nice that is what I did to mine also some toe out and leaned the tire tops in, I now just put the short traxxas springs on the rear from like a bandit front shock with one spacer they are stiffer than the stock ones so that should make it work and turn better also. It weird your ball field is like all tiny rocks mine is sand.... it's cool being tiny rocks but it must really sand blast the sides of your RC cars because my bodies get dulled up from the sand.
Definitively better with the DT-wheels. Thanks for the tip and test Brent.
No problem Dirk i am liking how it drives
Hornet has still got it ......impressive improvement though nice work mate 👊
Thank you Mark appreciate it brother
I love it when a tire plan comes together 😀❤️

Thank you Malcom it definitely has potential really drives nice now the tires and suspension are sorted
@@AdventureTimeRC One day Tamiya will bring in someone like us to sort this first. The tyre/wheel swap would have cost them nothing.
@BasBoyRC i agree i think they sacrifice proformance to keep the vintage look i would rather have a nice driving buggy
@@AdventureTimeRC They could have included both sets of wheels/tyres and add $5 and they still would have made a little more on it.
@BasBoyRC that would have been nice
Nice test Brent! The tire change and toe/camber adjustments sure made a big difference!👍😊
Thank you brother
Nice work! You made the buggy even more fun!
Thanks I really like how it drives now.so much better
Very nice and the buggy will look more scale with the other tires

Got a ? Will a hardcase 2s lipo fit?
I'm know there 2s small enough to fit but not sure about the hard case I would think with a big enough search you could find one
