The Baron love is because he's simple, the combo of watching someone slow down and the pop of the 1 is satisfying. Plus Baron's personality is fun, none of the characters currently in the game aside from Chaac has a fun personality, for casual players that means a lot.
Idk if I agree with the personality thing we’ve got sol Jing Wei and bacchus who I feel like are charming and fun but I do agree that someone like baron is fun and interesting kit wise and personality wise. He’s a good time

If Smite did an Abrahamic Gods release patch, Smite would do numbers it’s never done before. Three Gods with One ability idea each: Jesus - Walk on Water - slow dash (walk forward on water) immune during the dash and knocks back any enemies hit. Activating the ability again before it’s finished, Jesus turns the water into wine and splashes it ahead the remaining length of the original dash distance. The wine does small DoT with a decent Prot shred Moses - Part the Red Sea - Moses slams his staff on the ground and raises two walls of water (Yemoja Ult) but distinct from Yemoja, the walls have some thickness and can be walked through. Enemies passing through the water will be slowed. Enemies remaining in the water at the end of the ult duration are stunned and take a debuff. When Moses hits his staff it cracks the ground in a straight line, rooting enemies David - I just think a hunter using a slingshot as his cannon, auto weapon would be sick. - Herding sheep - David swings a Shepherd’s Crook in a cone ahead of him. Enemies caught in the hook will be pulled in towards David and David gets two buffed autos on any hooked enemies (built in Hydras) Cone can also be used to clear waves and camps
Genuinely Baron is such a solid pick. He can fill 3 roles insanely well, has a very low skill floor and a decent skill ceiling for brand new and returning players. I think that is where most of the love comes from, honestly.
If we get anyone who can pull enemies with a hook, Sylvanus becomes the least needed/wanted god. Don't get me wrong, I love the little tree man. It's just that he's unique purely because he can rip people away or into the team. Otherwise he's just a worse Geb.

She has to be fundamentally changed. She has 2 power stims on her kit on a class of god that is made for max dpm. That's why she is so volatile. A small increase can dramatically change how much dmg she does over the course of a couple seconds whether that be attack speed or power
Nox being on the bottom 5 is surprising. Imagine reworking her ability to pop into other gods, and making that an even bigger part of her kit. She has potential to be extremely unique, but it would require a full rework.
Top 4 mages I would LOVE for them to add into smite , especially Janus. I would love to see Maman in the game, i started loving her in smite 1 before smite 2 alpha release

I did the poll and was voting based on both fun and role flexibility. Gods that could realistically be played in more roles were a much higher priority for me. Like I really enjoy Ra, but a character like Ix Chel can be played in more roles.
Danza is amazing, especially being on console and sucking at hitting autos. Danza was the only adc I could use for a long time and actually make a difference on the team. I’m still not very good at adc though

Far off? Mulan is part of chinese mythology and the characters like Arthur, Merlin, Morgan are also some kind of legend. Robin hood is a childhood hero and is a normal human without any special powers. Mulan etc all have some special inhuman powers
It's a decent enough sample size, and it's proven based on how much people have agreed with it who haven't taken the test. Obviously, there are a few outliers, but I would 100% say it holds up to the majority of the player base more than the minority.
Freya honestly needs to be reworked and they should just turn her 1/2 into 1 ability that has her change between melee and ranged giving her different benefits and just throw the rest of her abilities away and make her more fun. I still want her to be an auto attack focused god tho it would feel wrong to turn her into a typical burst mage or a normal adc
