    Great honest review! I didn’t have range issues, but I definitely had steering issues and found too that it definitely fell short of its speed claims. I really wanted it to do better as it’s structurally built well and looks top notch! I think these companies are making some progress, but I feel that if they want to sell a ton of these, they have to realize that yes they are aiming for a kid audience, but kids are more advanced than they used to be with stuff like this. It doesn’t take long for them to grow bored if you will. The people testing them like you and me are just as critical as the young kids on stuff like this. I personally thing a little truck like this should c on me with a little bit more performance. For a 380 I thought it was meh…at best. WL toys 380’s hit the 18-20mph mark all the time. Or like I suggested to Rlaarlo, Make this version and also make a Pro brushless version like HBX, DeeRc and hospeed has done, to keep the interest of us bigger kids😁! I hope they listen, this little truck set up right could be their biggest stellar. Hope they’re listening! Great job on this!💯😊

      Thanks for the comment and I totally agree! I watched your video to check if my speeds were comparable! Looks like mine wasn’t a dud!

    I had intermittent range problems on the 1/14th buggy after running it for a few weeks.

    My First RC was a 1/18 Lambo back in 1989. Got it for Christmas. From my mother with help from others. Cost was just over $100 and was a POS.. Throttle was full on or off, Steering was full left/right. Top Speed was like 10mph. Ran on 8AA's and a 9v in the transmitter. I was hoping for they Tyco 1/8 Lambo for just over $150. Throttle was Incremental. Steering was Incremental, Body was removable and even had Suspension and ran on NiCad's and 8AA's in the transmitter... But I didn't let it show I was disappointed.
    Would I have been happy with something like this? Not with the issues it has in this video.
    When I was able to afford one myself in 96. I went to Toy's R Us and got one of those Spaceship Looking 1/10 Buggies, 4WD from Kyosho.. Ran on NiCad and a 9v. "Independent" Suspension. Incremental 24+mph, Incremental steering, Hi/Low Speed Gear Switch on car. Cost around $300 at the time. I was $200 Short to get the 1/8 scale Up Grade. But I ran that car for a good 6months before the gears in the car started to strip and did not know where to get new ones from.. This car was equivalent to this truck but without the Issues for quality.
    Now you can get Way Better Stuff for Less than what we had in the late 80's-mid 90's in just entry level..... Not counting Walfart Type Shit...

      I think the price point is the most important part when evaluating the value of any rc car

    So u would call this toy grade instead of hobby? Thoughts on this VS WLToys?

    • @413RC
      @413RC  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is definitely more toy grade. Which WLToys?

    They only RC vehicles that mean anything to me is the TRX-4 Ford Bronco XLT Ranger, The TRX-4 Tactical Unit, and the XO-1
    Most of my parts are KYX Racing.
    I also like Tanks and Construction RC stuff.
