    I absolutely love that episode of That 70's Show, seeing The Rock play his own father and then talk about himself in a quite literal third person...SO funny and well done!

      @heisensaul5538 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I know when the Rock talked about himself as his dad was a way to shoehorn in the Rock's catch phrase, but in the 70s they werenn't calling Wrestling Sports entertainment. I know that's a minor gripe, but it's one of those things I have to say something about lol

      @@Hawkeye26 As someone who is fascinated by the history of Pro-wrestling, I dont think that term was invented until the mid or late 80s by Vince McMahon .It's a little anachronistic lol. But to be fair, The Rock was really funny in this role. I havent seen this episode of That 70s show in years, but I still remember it being very funny.

    It's wild to me how wrestling went from Carnivals for my Great Grandfather to radio/eventually wrestling at the Chase for my Grandfather. Both experienced wrestling and loved it, but in completely different forms. My Uncle would later introduce me to wrestling through Hulk Hogan and Piper, then eventually the NWO. The history and transfer of knowledge/personal experience is always mind-blowing to me. Sorry to rant lol, I love these videos and how they can relate to potentially some of the best memories of a family.

    How I Met Your Mother essentially built itself on wrestling references.
    Marshall is always coming up with "sweet wrestler names," Barney has a replica of the Eagle Wing WWF title belt that's up for grabs to the first member of their gang who can have a threesome, Stacy Keibler has a role in the 100th episode, they go to a yearly event called Robots vs. Wrestlers, in a flashback Marshall and Lily are dressed as Jim Duggan and The Ultimate Warrior respectively and think they're going to WrestleMania, Barney buys a diamond studded suit called the DiBiase... I think that's about it but there's so much there, shame you didn't include it :)
