Owned the Hulk for years and it really was too much green for me. It grew old and almost overbearing by its unrelenting GREEN. The new 126610LV “Starbucks” is absolutely perfection. The ultra gloss black dial contrast between the green ceramic bezel is far more dramatic than the all green Hulk. Factor in the new case and bracelet and the new LV is THE modern Submariner to own. It is a direct modern lineage to the original LV 50th anniversary.
I already bought all of the new Subs from my AD and did a comparison video of my Hulk and new ceramic Kermit. Most of my viewers like the Hulk better. I totally respect your opinion (and I do love my ceramic Kermit, as well as my original Kermit), but the sunburst green dial of the Hulk is unbeatable, IMHO. It's what makes it so special. It looks black in low light and pops beautifully in the Sun. While I hear your point on the "Cermit", it's simply a black Sub with a green bezel.
@@damachine3 I used to have the Hulk but that green bezel used to make it look cheap and kind of cartoonish... I believe that’s the reason why the prices in the second market for the hulk has been dropping since last few weeks as people prefer to pay premium for the new one ... for me it’s a clear sign
@@impexRQ If you think the bezel looks cheap on the Hulk then you think it looks cheap on the new ceramic Kermit as well, because it's the exact same bezel. As for the prices, it may have dropped a tiny bit but I think it's because it popped so much at first after it was discontinued. Also, with the US election and other economic uncertainty, that's normal ups and downs. I don't think it has anything to do with the new ceramic Kermit...but who knows. It's still sky high and it will always be high because there will never be another original Hulk.
Would be great if you guys actually showed the watch(es) - including the ones on your wrists. Compare how much time of the vídeo is focused on you vs. how much time it’s focused on the actual pieces. Just a thought.
I’ve been on the waiting list for a black sub date for over a year, with the pandemic I was called by the dealer with an offer of my pick of the three subs on first refusal. Black, Green or Blue. Am I being offered the new watches or the previous model line that I was waiting for?
Just came across a 1 to 1 replica at a pawn shop and it is exactly the same!!!! I cannot tell any difference in your video and this watch... price $150 sad that Rolex doesn't control all the replicas out there... why pay $25,000 ???

I cannot forgive the older watches for the bracelet and clasp, so if I had to choose I'd say the latest LV.
The Kermit is a amazing come back - it’s a more unique and elegant than the cartoonish Hulk
