Dr. Liu has an infectious sense of curiosity and eager for learning and he’s so good at explaining complex models and theories. I’d love to see him on Sean Carols mind scape podcast.
Both the multiverse and string theory are purely hypotheses right now - string theory should be called the string hypothesis, there's no evidence that it is valid, and no way to test it. In fact, there is currently no way to test either one - no prediction that can be made which will only be true if the string hypothesis is true or if the multiverse hypothesis is true. So - they're just mental constructs at the moment, and no one knows if it will ever be possible to prove or disprove them. Dr. Liu says he thinks they are "very likely" - but that is entirely a guess. It is not based on any actual evidence. Other things have been thought equally likely in the past - the luminiferous aether (for example) was thought to exist for a long time as the substance that carried light throughout the universe. But it was proven not to exist - it was just like strings or the multiverse, a fashionable hypothesis that was treated as if it was real. But it was false.
Umm... Why doesn't this very informative, interesting and funny video not have 50 mil views LOL. I've watched it three times already!
You echo my thoughts exactly. I was shocked when I saw the view count.

I SAW THIS VIDEO LIKE 3 TIMES,TOMORROW I'LL SEE IT AGAIN!!😁😁😁😁
See the TH-cam channel Guardians of the Looking Glass. Pray for Dr. Liu's safety and that he is successful in his mission.
Impressive, to the point.
