@Dumbseiz *CPU. ARMA 3 is basically single threaded. It renders pretty much everything through your CPU and RAM so it needs the best CPU and clock speed you can give it with a fast amount of ram and with the game installed on an ssd. Your GPU will just help boost the the way everything looks, e.g. textures, lighting, shaders etc.. If you over power your rig with a super high-end GPU and have a low end CPU and a poor amount of ram, you're just going to bottleneck the hell out of your fps and the game will not be playable.
The low quality is actually making me feel really uneasy. I grew up watching the Iraq War unfold on the evening news, and this is definitely bringing some stuff back.
