In this DCS World Simulator video I'm in the F15E Strike Eagle Striking a convoy protected by SA6 and some Mirage F1, The F15E Strike Eagle just doing It's thing, Hope you guys enjoy!
I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthawg , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

That was easily the best video you have ever made. I was vibing so hard in the beginning. The John Wick of jets, the F-15E/EX.
GS and LS are clearly having fun in the 15E, and why wouldn't they? Monstrous radar, amazing weapons loadout, this thing is a beast.
And this is with the outdated APG-70, imagine if they gave it the current APG-82 AESA thats actually in the Strike Eagles now! Its essentislly a cheat code.
@@MattH-wg7ou the F-15E will already be unbalanced AF in BVR servers. The 82 would be absolutely ridiculous.
Its a simulation game, not all jets are created equal

Amazing this jet came out in the early 90's. I was stationed at RAF Lakenheath when the first jets arrived to replace the F-111Fs
late 80's, but that only makes it more impressive.

@@XiaOmegaX Your both wrong. The jet came out in the 1970's. First flight 1972 and flight line operations in 1976. The E variant came out in the 80's but has been updated regularly with new technology.
A similar thing happened here at Mountain Home, the F-15E replaced the F-111 here as well.
Those bombs leaving the jet is the coolest thing I've seen in a DCS video in a long time. Like a BOSS! Keep 'em coming LS!

Although this Strike Eagle seems to be highly sophisticated, somehow your play-by-play makes it sound a little less daunting than I originally feared it might be.
BTW - that new Sinai map is unbelievable in just about every aspect. The clouds, sunsets, detailed cityscapes are all absolutely gorgeous!

Your vids have taken on a style all ur own, maybe don't change horse mid stream? There's still a bunch of no nonsense viewers too.
Super happy to see the strike mission content between yourself and Growling Sidewinder. Played the daylights out of Microprose's Nighthawk 2.0, usually flew the Lockheed-Martin settings rather than the Microprose settings (Lockheed-Martin was so much easier haha). Strike missions are dear to my heart! Love the idea of hitting a ground target then mitigating the risks of aircraft being scrambled and/or SAM sites pointing at you if they see you! Cheers man

If you ever get a chance in dcs take out the av8b with the ecm pod attached. Fly circles around the sam sight with the side of the pod pointed about at about 10 degrees and use chaff. The missiles will fly them selves in to the ground. It's hella sweet

You gotta play with the program feature of the MPD and MPCD. Using castle switch aft left and right you can quickly move any screen through three programed screens with the castle switch. Set your three most used functions of each MPD so that you don't have to come hands off to change a screen.
Yep, you can actually program more than three. At least 5 or 6 I know for sure.
I think it’d be super awesome if we could get a few missions that are the whole thing from when you take off to the landing and everything. Really cool seeing the new F-15

Yea some WSO love is needed! The WSO drastically increases the capability of the Strike Eagle, as of course it was designed that way. Especially, but not limited to A/G missions.
Map is sweet, gfx look so real, lighting is very good. Nicely done 👍🏻

i'm pretty sure at above mach 1 the forces on those snakeye's would have ripped the petals off the bomb. so -2 points for realism, but + 4 points for cool factor and sonic boom :) i think i remember reading that the MK82 AIR was developed so that aircraft cant drop them at faster speeds. the ballute on the AIR will deform at highspeed instead of just ripping off like the metal petals will on the snakeyes. just one of the aspects of dcs that isn't simulated (yet:)
oh, there are a lot of weapons limitations which should, but aren't in DCS yet. For example minimal missile launch airspeed (800km/h for the R-3R)
And GBU-12 (maybe GBU-10 also?) Max Carriage and Employment limit of .9M, etc. But many a GBU-12 has been oversped and still worked fine IRL lol.
@@MattH-wg7ou Those limitations for bombs are not because the bomb itself would get damaged (as it is for snakeeyes instead) but because the forces applied to it can damage the pylon holding it, preventing a proper separation (aka hung store). This is true for speed as well as g load

I know that the F-35 is supplementing the F-15E in the strike role, but I hope that eventually they have a dedicated 5th Generation Strike Fighter to fully replace the "Mudhen". My idea is a two place aircraft similar in fuselage design to the F-22, but in a tailless delta design, but with the outer wing panels similar to the B-2, and B-21.
i believe you are describing the B-21raider, not sure if it has a targeting pod but they could probably add one for a CAS model.
The f-35 will eventually phase out the super hornet and eagle
I've never understood dumping flares for a radar missile.. Its known threat and its identified by the RWR system... All the flares do is give a visual track of your flight path to anyone in range with a manpads..

I don’t know if this is just good advertising for the mod, or the plane, but i never quite realized the F-15E was so terrifying. Its basically what the F-111 and Tornado IDS were built as but never *quite* were.
An amazing thing i never knew I like is they are quiet compared to other fighters. I live 5 miles from PDX airport and they take off daily. Not too bad. But when some f-18’s show up it shakes the house
you and GS in a vid where you guys cover each other, someones in the strike eagle dropping bombs and the other is in good air superiority fighter so when jets get scrambled he can take him down

Does this module come with a virtual WSO like Jester for the F14? Thats supposed to be the big secret of the mudhen - being able to split complex tasks up.

At 3:28 the INTVL is not feet, its Milliseconds between release pulses. But if youre going about 1000fps...

I'm curious, will a radar set to A2G set off the RWR of a plane that is within the scan zone? Logically it should but I dont know if thats really the case or if DCS models that
Also this brings another question, if you have a plane flying the same speed as you and within the scan zone of the A2G radar (but maybe a few km above ground), will it mask the earth below it and show up in the picture, or will the radar just display the earth below the aircraft and not show it as even being there?
I really wonder how would this stack up to F-14D, in theory they have same radar so it would be just ease of use in bvr and if in wvr pure performance

@@JSRJS the air to ground radar map should be distorted around transmitting sam sites. A F-15E wso talked about it on the ten percent true podcast. Might not be modeled tho

The Sanai map is out of a company in Belarus. I will be passing on the map because of that. Don't want any tax money to support any aspect of that country.
LS....please don't take this personally but that up-beat disco music DOES NOT go with the intro for a massive war machine capable of dropping tons of hate on bad guys. More of an intro for a woman warming up to jog around the neighborhood.

It can dogfight, it’s just a bit worse than the F15C because the F15E is fat.
^ what they said, and fuel, 30klbs of fuel when fully loaded which is the weight of an entire F/A-18C hornet carried in fuel alone or 1.5 F-16C blk 50's lol. if you burn off all the fuel it will preform much better at BFM. (most of the youtube vid's i've seen so far people aren't even remembering to jettison EXT tanks, let alone burning enough gas to empty the CFT's)

Yes, but F15 can carry more payload and fuel. It's the heaviest non-dedicated bomber
Not to mention the APG70 radar in the eagle is just massive and was very capable for its time
long story short the Strike Eagle can do almost everything the Hornet can (except i think Harpoons and Harms) but for twice as long, twice as far and more effectively if the radar is at a play
With that Strike Eagle being so heavy and less maneuverable, it seems that defeating missiles is a MUCH more dangerous task than it would be for a standard F-15, or am I missing something?
It is less manueverable and less of a dogfighter than the F15C of course. But with that tradeoff comes a whole host of other capabilities. But yes energy management for Last Ditch Missile Defense is CRITICAL and more difficult than in more nimble lighter jets.

This model is cool and all, but until I see a bag of piss float up to the front of the cockpit from the WSO during maneuvering, it just isnt gonna have that realism I'm really looking for.

F-15E uses a thing called an F-16 for SEAD.

Once again, another example of why the customers should never PRE-Order another Razbam product: The F15E module IS FUNCTIONAL enough for numerous TH-camrs to showcase all of its features, YET, the customers that already paid for this are UNABLE to use and enjoy the product (EVEN IF THE PRODUCT IS NOT 100% complete, which the customers are aware of)
