This is incredible how you COMPLETELY RE-ENGINEERED the 11x11 idea. Good job Matt!
I love how the face tiles feel like a giant 15 puzzle
Watching you assemble these big contraptions in Timelapse is some of the most satisfying content on YT
This has gotta be one of the most satisfying puzzle assemblies I've ever seen. Keep it up!
It's really a visual treat to watch the making of this giant ball. Amazing. Thank you for sharing.😊
Looks absolutely amazing! Well done Matt!
this guy deserves so much more exposure!!!
Wow, i cant even put together a 11x11
I have problems with 5x5...
Now that’s a BIG BALL! 😱
I’m loving these videos!
Wow! Thats giant! Great job Matt Bahner!
been LOVING the puzzles you've been making the last year. for the record if you made a patreon i would join in a heartbeat
This is a sick project. it’s great how you touch on questions and make it easy to understand. Really helps me brainstorm my own ideas too. Well explained, and holds the viewers attention. Nicely made video yessirr👏👏
This is incredible! Keep it up 🔥
It's really puzzling to develop puzzles. Congratulations on your work and for sharing it with us.
This is amazing. I'm subscribed now. Great job!
The threat at the end was amazing.
dude you slay me everytime. Keep doing more of this crazy shit. 💪🏽🤘🏽
Now THIS is truly amazing! 👍
Absolutely amazing!
"Oh yeah" at 13:10 reminded me of Vector 💀
With DIRECTION and MAGNITUDE!
only 860 like and so much work done. give this man some respect
Damn, I was not expecting that mechanism. Awesome puzzle!
I'm glad to see an idea I had to link smaller pieces to the lower digit cubes would have worked.
ie having the 9x9 link to the 7x7 that link to the 5x5 that link to the 3x3.
This was in late 2017
I didn't have time or a 3d printer to try it.
This design is a bit of a throwback to pre-verdes mechanism concepts. Next you should make a giant gear cube
Wow this is just incredible!! Love that you made this with so much hollow space inside, kinda reminds me of the cloverminx by VeryPuzzle
The 20x20 clip ;-;
Just break my 33x33 already... 😂 All jokes aside, I like seeing those video from time to time on my feed, love your work Matt !
Love me some Matt Bahner
my man casually re-engineers the 11x11 ball
Very cool. This was a really neat construction.
Bro pillowed it too much
love these videos!!!!!
Love these builds so much
I love you so much sweetheart
@@jacobgoddard9688
This is insane
That's a big ball
You're getting so good at making videos
You are crazy, I love it
This is so beautiful
This man was pulling out all the tricks to reach over 10 min
Incredible
absolute cinema
HE IS SO BACK
Unfreaking believable......as always.
a masterpiece🎉
just amazing
Doesnt the vcube8 and that one fangshi mini 6x6 use basically the same mech?
You should make a square 1 next
He has already made a giant square 1
Will you ever try again with the 20x20?
So instead of each piece directly attaching to core, for the centers each piece attaches to previous piece on two axes. 1:52 Could this interlocking corner mechanism be used to attach the corners in a proportional 7×7×7 cube to two out of three surrounding edges at a time during outer layer rotation?
I know how all this 3d printing and slicing programs work so much. Since I've been working on designing/printing out some puzzles as well as printing out puzzles that other people have designed. But I've noticed that sometimes my slicer program will not generate supports in spots where it should be. But anyways I don't have that much CAD experience as you do, so I can't really design much complicated puzzles as what you make.
Bruh, you're Insane,
And cool.
Can you make a battery powered true maglev cube in which no pieces touch each other?
AMAZING
“V cube 11”
Grade job 😮
It was only until the assembly that I realized how big this is
How do you desing the cube
I know there is a way higher chance of messing up the algorithm than if you did the checkerboard, but I bet a superflip would've looked awesome
That’s a giant ball! Dear lord!
HI MOZ!!!!
Where do you get your pure silicone oil?
7:45 Is there any reason you didn't design these so one piece had holes and the other with pins to slot into the holes? Or if the faces that glued together were the base of the print, then holes on all pieces and print dowels? That way everything lines up and it would have worked as support for holding everything together.
Yes - I’ve done this in the past and there are 2 reasons I stopped:
1. This way takes less time
2. This way actually results in better alignment, because 3d prints warp a little and sometimes the holes don’t line up. I actually am more precise when I line it up manually
@@matt.bahner Ah, I see. Would you say that with how big the core is, even if you did misalign it by a few millimetres , it wouldn't make a difference?
What kind of printer do you use?
ok now hes cooking
How many hours did it take you to make it?
Giant FTO next
Make a small one with gold filament and put it on a big cheesey gold chain, call that Matt Bahller 😎
Ballin
Make a giant 14x14 ball.
i was 2 min in and was like man just made a gint sliding puzzle mind blown
I love to see haw this is possible
How
Bro will you custom make me a 20x20 and 18x18
30% big cube (balls) building
30% body building
30% aerobics
10% math
🙃
Genial!
Still hoping to see a 40x40😂
"Checkboard"? Nah, "Checkerball"!
lol Volume of a "Shere" XD
Congrats 🎉🎉 so cool
04:09 couldn't you just rotate it 90 degrees, so that nothing hangs in the first place?
when math is interesting:
ooh Ergodox. why don't you show any of your interesting stuf likehow you coordinate printers or why you still use windows in 2024
Haha someday I’ll make a video about all my non-cube building hobbies. I have a lot! The Ergodox is dope. It has a lot more keys than I use, but I guess it’s better to have too many than too few. Fun fact, I actually type on a non-qwerty layout that I generated with a genetic optimization program I wrote. I’m still getting comfortable with the layout, only up to 100wpm, but it feels insanely efficient on most words and I might make a video about it if I can ever get out of my head about being trapped in this puzzle building niche
@@matt.bahner that's crazy. do you have a link to how you generated it? Are there home row mods and is it similar to like colemak, dvorak, workman? (I assume it's similar in goal but curious about the practical execution.)
Dude.
Your 3d printers must be tired as heck.
BOLL
🎉
13:24 Like and subscribe or you'll rapidly disassemble us into thousands of pieces?
Ball
11 11
now play soccer with it
I love your mantra "simplify, simplify, simplify." Great video, entertaining as well as informative.
One hundred and eighth
get bambus they are much faster and can do better over hangs
I expected a ges system, maglev, ball-core, corner to core magnets and edge to core magnets. You need to focus on the new releases. I’m disappointed
this comment exists so that the first comment can't be "first" cuz i wanna ruin a kids day lol
Second
Lol
Lol
Thank you good sir
@@Scout_21 ur welcome
bro thought he was first
balls
I love your content so much please keep making amazing puzzles!
Matt always fails to make a not crazy puzzle
AMAZING!!!!
