I love the little pump sprayer. I’ve never seen one that holds less than two or three gallons which is rather cumbersome for my small garden and a few fruit trees. Hope I can find one in the US. Good video, thanks.
Yeah, that little sprayer it amazing! They are very popular here in South Africa. It hold 1L, which I see is about a quarter gallon. It's nice for smaller gardens but too small for bigger ones, but really handy to have. Personally I find the 5L one to be the perfect size for most needs. I hope you manage to find some that can work for your space 🌻🌻🌻
Nothing wrong with an application of "chemical" fertilizer if your plant needs it. Plants don't really care for large organic molecules anyway, the bacteria break that stuff down into the chemicals the plants needs. Technically, water is also a chemical. The problem with synthetic fertilizers is when they're used as the only solution. You need organic matter in the soil to provide a good home for the good microbes and give structure to the soil but if your plants are chlorotic, the best thing you can do for them is to give them a fast acting fertilizer and these are usually synthetic. I only mention this cause most of those plants in the intro look hungry. It's winter and they're in containers so I could see why that would happen. But that just goes to show how modern problems require modern solutions and just saying "man-made chemical always bad" is shooting yourself in the foot I feel at least.

I do not disagree with you at all. You make very valid points. Personally I won't use synthetic fertiliser as a foliar spray purely because of how easy it is to burn the leaves. I used to use synthetic fertiliser on some of my bonsai and burnt leaves once too often 😆 Like I mentioned, this is all about personal preference and as you rightly pointed out that as long as it is not your only way of feeding then you shouldn't run into any issues 🌻

Hey Carol, great news on getting some Hortisol! It's a really great product! So would suggest 2 of the orange bottle caps to 5l of water. That won't burn your leaves and also remember to apply the foliar spray very early in the morning or late in the afternoon 🌻
That's a really good point! Yes, you can 100% use Bokashi tea for foliar feeding your plants. The only reason why I use specific fertiliser is to control exactly what the plants gets. With worm tea or Bokashi tea the ingredients are always different which impact the nutrient makeup and because leaves can only absorb a certain amount of nutrients you want to make sure it's the ones they struggle to get. Personally I would add the Bokashi tea into the soil for the roots and then foliar feed with something more predictable like seaweed 🌻
