Also yes that show of Nightwish was in my home town of Denver, both her and Alissa where in a band called kamalot. Yes she did audition to become the new singer for Nightwish. If you look you can find footage of that show but it’s all cell phones.

The other singer who was also in Denver was Alissa when they both sang in the band Kamelot then and now Alissa is in another Swedish band that is not very far from where Floor lives and a little further down the Swedish west coast Amarante holds so both has been interviewed by Floor on her channel (clearly worth seeing if you have not seen them already) (Alissa is from Canada and lives there when she is not recording songs and touring)
Elize tried out as a successor to Tarja but did not get the role but here you have her contribution of one of Nightwish's bigger songs from that time

and Amaranthe has two male singers (who have changed over the years but those who are now have been with for several years)
then the one who was the former singer in Alissa's "new" band who was also her singing coach works with both bands but in the background now that she wanted to spend more time with the family and the last song I saw her in is with Amaranthe and here you have the link to it

The former has a more brutal voice and it was the group that got Alissa to start with that type of music and now she fronts there but mostly of the songs it is the guitarist who writes and it is a bit marked with solo but both groups are worth listening to so I can not recommend you warmly enough to check out both of them and if you search for Alissa and Tarja you will get a song that they made together
The 82nd All American division nickname was because at that time they had soldiers from every state at the time. The slogan changed To "Death from Above" when they were transitioned into an airborne division.

After listening to your intro description of what was coming, in an odd way I did get a bit of a Disney vibe in that initial song. Not sure what I heard or expected but it wasn’t what the second song turned out to be. Good stuff either way.
You know I can’t leave a comment without mentioning Liliac’s new cover they dropped Friday, “Close My Eyes Forever”. And as always, they crushed it again. With a surprise instrument even and it oddly fits perfect in the song.

You should check out Drop Dead Cynical Amaranthe with former clean singer Jake E who has his own band Chyrha.
Its the song that got me hooked on Amaranthe.

I’m a big Sabaton fan but I actually think Amaranthe’s version of 82nd all the way is the better of the two. And Elize is adorable in the official video.

yes three vocalists male clean male growl and female clean. on acessebility i can recommend the dragon force streams. Dragon force made a sabaton song in 10 minuts and then a amarhamte song in another stream. later they did streams with sabaton and amaranthe. Elize sang their song on stream. worth watching
