Last year I listened to this in full in the Chartres gothic cathedral in France. I was seated the whole time and slowly scanning throughout the interior. This fit the scene so magically well. Love this one.

Always wish that first part in first minute was longer. James sometimes will make a real cozy section not very long and it keeps me wanting more. Not a bad thing
"the thick of it" iss such a great way 2 describe it,,. itslike the album puts u in trance w/ longer drone sections& then once yr use 2 the way it sounds it becomes liek a buffet of crasy musical ideas ,,. it rly does feel exacly like hypnagogia

For me, it’s 52:54 that is the transcending moment of part three. I can agree with the third part in general being the thick of it.
