Excellent tips! By far the best Hawaii PCS vlog I've seen. Question for you - I tend to be a toiletry/make up hoarder and I was going to stock up before my PCS. You mentioned though that none of that can go in HHG? I would have to put it all in totes for the airplane? Thanks for your help!
Not sure what the guidelines are with HHG when moving to Hawaii but I know moving from Japan to the states and then West to East coast they just harped on not allowing cleaning supplies, paint, car wash fluid, etc. Stuff under the sink type of fluid they wouldn’t allow but the standard toiletry and makeup we had no issues with. Hope it works out for you!
@@schibby8332 Thanks, this helps. I've only done CONUS PCSs. The only thing they didn't let me take were aerosol paints, but they did pack up my liquid paints and cleaning supplies, etc. This will be my first OCONUS one, so now I know what not to stock up on beforehand! Thanks again.

a l o h a, welcome to Hawaii. I think TSA would take the scissors. I worked in the lost and found and we got numerous scissors from TSA
The military provides a government card for PCS and its better than using your money 🥰 you use it for hotels, food and everything basically
How soon did you get your card? We go to hawaii July 4th.
