Pedro totally looks like a slacker dude from the 90's lol...it's great. Having such a goofy and cool guy playing one of the most badass Star Wars characters ever is pretty awesome.
He was great in Narcos, honestly he might be my favorite actor right now, he's such a cool dude.

Yeah, they were part of the Reavers. Their role was pretty small in it. I do think Logan is the best X-Men movie. I just can't remember anything the Reavers really did..other than trying to kill them.

Onyx Guard it definitely does with that slight modulation to it. When he takes the helmet off in ep 8 he says “you mean, My brain?” It sounds really weird without the effect. With it, though it sounds amazing

Weirdly I feel the opposite. This doesn't feel like Star Wars to me. I kind of mean that in a good way though. For one it feels way more like a western. Before someone says it yes I know aspects of the og star wars were based on westerns,but this felt more like a sci fi version of the man with no name trilogy. Hell mando even sounds like Clint Eastwood. When looking at the original star wars it's always some big cosmic danger to the galaxy or the force or some random planet is in danger. In the mandalorian the stakes are extremely personal. Mando witnessed his people slaughtered at a young age and dedicated his life to the mandalorians who protected him as a child so naturally seeing a child in danger he wishes to pass it on. Kind of different from the whole chosen one stories in star wars or family dynasties. Plus it feels less mystical. Star Wars always have some mystical fantasy force shenanigans going on, but for once we ain't focusing on some Jedi, aside from baby Yoda who can't really do a lot of force shenanigans due to being a baby. Also the biggest thing for me, the show is quiet. In all of star wars most quiet moments are near the end when they reflect on things, but in the Mandalorian it's just quiet. No dialogue, no quips, no exposition just characters thinking and emoting because the people involved assume you're smart enough to interpret a scene. Are there quips and exposition, yeah but they are appropriate. It's not a silent movie after all. So yeah I don't feel the same way watching this as I do with star wars. But it's a good story in the star wars universe. But then again people are probably referring to legends in which case sure why not. Never read it, probably never will. Same with disney books and comics because I ain't got time nor money for that.

Jon Favreau needs to be given the keys to the Star Wars universe. He's similar to George where he pushes and invents new filmmaking technologies capabilities but his superior when it comes to telling a comprehensive story and dialogue. Dave Filoni should stay on because he was essentially Luke to George Lucas Yoda and just understand's the galaxy vs Kathleen Kennedy and Jar Jar Abrams.

This show redeemed star wars in my eyes, all these new films seemed like such cheap, fanbate, cash grabs. And then you get this gem.

Pedro has a point when he says it reflects our reality as human beings. I think that's why people are so connected to the Mandalorian - because despite being about a whole different universe it's so relatable. It has very human moments

Great way of introducing the franchise to a new generation. I’ve only watched the OG films 4 years ago in High School and could not convince my brother to watch them too. Two nights ago, we sat and watched the entire season in one sitting and he liked it

Can you be so self absorbed? I guess no opinion exists except for yours. I like TFA. Grow up buster. I like TLJ. I understand that isn’t a popular but it’s isn’t perfect. It’s fine. It’s decent sci fi movie but doesn’t try anything new and the pacing is pathetic with a bloated runtime but somehow the 3rd act is rushed. There are far too many plots and characters in the film. But it’s still good.
It has beautiful effects, impressive choreography, exceptional performances, good character arch’s especially Luke. I like the idea of a broken hero. Someone who made a decision we aren’t supposed to agree with. That was the whole point. But he mans up and confronts Kylo properly, apologizing to him. He sacrifices his life to give the galaxy hope knowing it will kill him, but he wanted to see Leia one more time.
I’m fine if you don’t like the movie. But don’t go bossing next around because I like it. Shame on you

@@backgroundcharacterj5071 depends. I would say rouge one was better than any of his trilogy movies. I would also say 7th is way better than 1st. The main reason 8th is so increadibaly bad is rian more or less destroying all plot points that they were suppose to build on for the trilogy (i have a very hard time thinking this is how Abrams would have wanted it) . By doing that he made the 7th and 8th worse.
The 7th wasent anything special and but it did its job( you dont instantly start experimenting things on a old beloved franchise).
George was extremly hated by people, they just have forgoten it becuse that is how outrage culture works. But he was constantly getting death threats and also called satan himself.
There are reasons why he sold it all and donated away all the money after it.
@@onespiker Rogue one was good but didn't follow through with what it was intended to be which never really involved any Bothans which it was supposed to and rebel spies within the area, to which they kinda did but it was supposed to be during a diplomatic mission.
7th could've been good if they followed through with their characters however the way it was set up was just a rehash of a new hope and episode 8 being a rehash of empire strikes back. There was no character building, no new technology, and no new ideas.

Super Somethings agreed, there is no issue with Rey being a female. Males and females are the same after all. I just don’t like how she can match the only sith left with no training aside from philosophy lessons from Luke. I wouldn’t even mind if baby yoda was a she (as long as it’s not shoved down our throats)
@Aidan Snyder people are different. You already made very scientifically unproven claims when making your point. It also ignores a more important point which is that there are equally large differences within the sexes as there are between the sexes, physically, psychologically and mentally, but you boil it down to averages of two categories people supposedly must fall in to always.
That is the problem with the binary thinking. Individuals are not averages and they are not statistics. Each and everyone has their different dreams, thoughts, skills and circumstances and aspirations.
Some may be out of the realm of possibility, but a fuck ton lot are just random shit human culture made up and has no rational justification whatsoever. E.g. the claim emotional strength (whatever that is supposed to be scientifically) is higher in men than women. One could argue a rock has higher emotional strength than either.

Mandalorian is just absolutely amazing!
