Good review because you talked about different injuries and conditions. That made a difference.

Thank you for doing this great video of the Luxury Firm model. I've only seen one other video review like this. All the rest are (come to find out) of the Plush model which led to a lot of confusion around the "Firmness" ratings/descriptions it was given.
I've had the Plush model for about 90 days and absolutely love this mattress! BUT while I do sleep much better and wake up with no pain at all any more, I found that I sink in WAY too much. It is very very soft.
I'm a side/back combo sleeper with roughly the same size and body type as you. I also have a really bad shoulder on the primary side I sleep on. But a big issue of mine is that I spend a great deal of time sitting up in bed reading/watching TV and that has been almost impossible to do with this Plush version. So I'm going to exchange it for either the Luxury Firm or the Firm but since you only get one exchange I've been super worried about getting the wrong one.
Do you recall if you were able to sit up in bed comfortably on the Luxury Firm without feeling like you were sitting on a bean-bag chair?
I'm truly trying to find the best of both worlds with support for sitting and pressure relief for sleeping so any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've still got the luxury firm version of this mattress and I sleep on it sometimes. I do find it pretty easy to sit up in, although less than say the DreamCloud or Noa. If it turns out to be too soft I guess you could stick a firm mattress topper over it

Thank you so much for responding! I greatly appreciate your input in regards to my question! I was really surprised to see a response. So many reviewers ask people to leave questions and comments yet almost never answer or acknowledge any of the ones left. So it means alot to me that you took the time to give me some feedback.
I do believe I will go with the Luxury Firm because I'm afraid that the Firm will be too hard on my hips, shoulders, and back. And if I can sit up in it without feeling like I'm in a hammock, then I believe it'll be a good compromise. As for sleeping, the Plush is very comfortable and has taken away all the pain and discomfort I've put up with for years, but I very much don't like feeling like I'm sleeping "in a mattress" and would much rather feel like I'm sleeping "on a mattress". So I'm hoping the Luxury Firm will help with that feeling aswell.
Again, Thank you so much for your thoughts and your videos!

Great review!!! Wish I’d found this before getting the Puffy Lux Hybrid. Sounds like the Nolah would’ve been better.

Very good review. Strongly considering this mattress. 1.) With the additional foam and other materials does that provide or contribute to the longevity of the mattress as this mattress can support a heavier person? 2.) We live in Florida and of course for most of the year it's warm and we live for the most part under air-conditioning. This probably is a question with no easy answer, but will this mattress run hotter and dissipate less heat? BTW: I have been watching all of your reviews as we have similar issues with sports injuries either from working out or softball where I have a bad shoulder and a really bad knee and our size and weight are similar so I can more readily relate to your reviews. Thanks in advance for all of your help..

Great review. How much do you weigh? I’m a side 200lb side sleeper and thinking about getting the PLUSH firmness

Did you ever end up with the Nolah in plush version? How’s
It going? I’m debating about ordering the Lux Firm for side sleeping. Thanks

Oh goodness…this was the first mattress I bought when starting my search (spoiler alert, I have now bought and returned 7 mattresses in the past 9 months). I am 5’5, 138, my husband is 5’8, 160 and we both HATED this mattress. Ordered it in the “ultra plush” and I as a side sleeper, ended up on a steroid for hip inflammation caused by this mattress, and my husband was sleeping on the floor! It was sooooo incredibly firm! The top layer was stitched so tightly that some of the tufted areas ripped after laying on them for less than a week. There was absolutely no give to this mattress for us! The “pillowtop” made us both feel as though we were sleeping on lumps. There was zero sinkage and no contouring or molding to our bodies. I checked the tag to make sure it was actually the ultra plush we had ordered as I was shocked by its firmness. I must say, customer service was outstanding and they let us return it after three weeks as we were miserable! Interesting how subjective mattress shopping is.

Ah sorry to hear this one didn't work out for you. Let me know the make and model of the one that you end up going with, it's always good to know of alternatives.

I have purchased 5 and several mattress toppers. Still looking. My next option I think I am going with the Helix Midnight Luxe. If that one doesn’t work I will try a foam bed. I tried the Puffy Luxe. Thought it would be the one until I turned it. The other side did not feel the same. It felt lumpy and was not comfortable on my back. I was very disappointed. It shouldn’t be this hard to find a mattress. I’m tired.

where can I buy this in the UK ?

They don't ship to the UK yet as far as I know. The UK version of the DreamCloud isn't exactly the same, but it's the only close comparison out of everything I've tested so far: th-cam.com/video/wPEp7K0EnM0/w-d-xo.html

We purchased this mattress in the luxury firm. The Nolah replaced a medium mattress we'd had for about 10 years that had become too soft. I'll give our impression of this mattress VS the Wink luxury firm we replaced it with under the 120 day free replacement warranty.
On a scale of 1-10 we, my wife and I, would give this mattress a 4, it's soft. Also it has terrible edge support. The only positive I'd give this mattress is it slept fairly cool. During the 100 days we had the mattress there was no change in the firmness, too soft.
The Wink luxury firm is right on with its firmness rating, we'd give it a 6 or 6.5. Because they run the support coils all the way to the edge of the mattress the edge support is outstanding, the best we've ever had.
Back to the Nolah and another negative, the return process. They made us a "special offer" when I told them I wanted to return the mattress, buying the mattress outright for about 20% of the original price. They stated that due to Covid it was hard to find places that would take the mattress for donation purposes. I sent a return email that we weren't interested, please come get the mattress and issue the refund.
A few days went by and I contacted them by email. They stated they were still looking for a donation site and asked if we knew of one(we live in the LA area and there are tons of donation sites). In the meantime have we considered the "special offer". I said no. A couple more days went by and I sent another email, asking if they fully understood we wanted to do the return, they replied with, "are you sure you don't want to take advantage of our special offer?" OMG. I stated NO, let me know when you have the pick up scheduled. That afternoon I received an email from another company about picking up the mattress,,, funny how after I emphatically stated "come get it" they managed to find a site for donation.
I had to take pictures of the mattress, write used on the tag and take a photo of that. I had to send in the donation form from the company that picked up the mattress. Now more than a week later the refund still hasn't hit our bank.
We also had to pay a $99 dollar return fee.
The exterior construction on the Nolah mattress looked good, similar to the Wink, but it's too soft, the edge support is very poor, and they go a mile to try and get out of their "Easy return" policy. In conclusion the Wink is a better mattress for the same price.
