the tale of outcast is absolute garbage. I never really drop something, but that one I had to drop. I couldn't get over the fact that the girl made a contract and offered up both of her eyes for it, when no one ever asked for it. logically she could offer a single hair, one year of her lifespan, any of her senses or whatever. if it had to be something then something non essential. the demon didn't even ask for it. now you got a useless protagonist who can't even see what's around her and has to be taken care of all the time for the worst plot reason. they say you see the world trough the protagonist's eyes. well, she is a useless baggage, and the tsundere demon has to babysit her. after that trope, I watched 2 more episodes but there isn't much story, it's all random and weird, not in a good way. but every time I was reminded that she didn't need to sacrifice that, and the rest of the things make no sense in view of that. everyone trying to protect her, and this would be the chance of her starting a new life and see the world. should you be sorry for her? was her own choice. sorry for the rant but this was the worst plot element in animé ever.

Made in Abyss is fire. I'm waiting until it's finished though, so I can binge it, waiting on a few tbf. Couldn't wait for Hell's Paradise, though, been watching that, it's amazing, an absolute must if you haven't watched it yet!
It's very good but not in the level of made in the abyss. Made in abyss is fucked up times 1000 yet wholesome with loveable character and the story is straight forward but very intriguing. Heavenly delusional is more of a mystery and the story is kind of complex and really interesting. It's a little fucked up at least the last 2 episodes but not to the level of made in abyss YET. I say yet because it has potential to be as fucked up depending upon what happens in the facility.

Half of them are true gems and half on them mostly the newer ones are absolute trash in comparison and very mid. (I watched all shows recommended and that is just my personal opinion and it’s also the correct opinion 😂). Anyways there are about 4 really awesome shows that made the list I recommend everyone to give them a try

THE TALE OF OUTCASTS is not underrated: The main character in the first episode has a list of issues which we find out later are not issues. I can't elaborate more without spoilers. Spoilers: So the MC thinks his existence doesn't matter if no one can see or interact with him. Which him being a demon it's implied he's the only one. Nope there are other demons. So you think oh, demons can't be seen by humans or interacted with. Nope, demons eat humans and there was a huge human demon war. Ok maybe the MC is just a weak demon who can't manifest himself to humans. Nope he's one of the most powerful demons in history and you find out later he can take on a human form that allows him to interact with humans. They say it messes with his mana circulation or something to that effect but after stating that the anime never shows it doing so afterward. The MC goes in and out of his human form with no observable problems with his powers. The rest of the show is just a mediocre boy meets girl type of romance. There are also other things about the world building that make no sense if you think about it for even half a second. The anime is mediocre and you're personal tastes will decide if it's good or bad. BEAST TAMER in not underrated: This anime is rated appropriately which is to say in the trash. Everyone and I mean everyone in this anime has an IQ lower than it's placement on this list. Spoilers: The MC is a summoner who is more powerful than any summoner to have been known but doesn't know it. Which makes no sense because he can do things no other summoner can do period. It's stated in the anime. The MC is also part of a guild as an adventure SO has he never talked to another summoner before? Was he not trained? Has he never worked with another summoner before? Considering the role of summoners in the world, that makes no sense so why hasn't anyone else especially the MC not noticed he can do things other Summoners simply can't do? No clue and no explanation. He gets fired from his initial party because they think he's weak and doesn't contribute, par for the course of bad party member story setup. Except what he did for the party was scout with multitudes of summons for perfect information in whatever area they were in. Also transportation of both the party and cargo which those two alone make him more than worth his weight in gold. So his party members who are VETERAN adventures are absolute morons because the story needs them to be. Then we get the FMC who is a powerful spirit who can contract with summoners or humans in general. She's so strong her powers can actually drive her contractor insane, also she has been tricked and pursued by humans for said power. So what does she do upon the first meeting with the MC? She contracts with him without knowing if he's strong enough to handle her powers after he shares a sandwich with her because no one has ever offered her food in an attempt to capture her, apparently. Only after she contracts with the MC and he shows he's strong enough to handle her power does she feel relieved because she didn't know if he could and if he couldn't he would have been driven insane and then eventually died. My first thought was "Did you just contract to the first human who was nice to you without making sure he could handle your power which if he couldn't would have led to his death? You dumb irresponsible b+++h." And the rest of the anime is just more of the same and at times worse. Unless you like bad anime so you can laugh at how absurdly bad it is, this anime is a waste of time. The other anime on this list are ones I haven't watched all the way through or haven't see at all so can't comment on.
