Saw Magic Slim and the Teardrops in the late 80's at Birmingham (UK) Town Hall ( allegedly ) supporting local hero Spencer Davies (keep on running etc) They knocked 7 shades of **** out of it and took the roof off the Town Hall. Phenomenal live!

Slim played Biddy Mulligans often in the 80’s and I’m happy to say that I was there for many of his performances. If you wanted to see a band that epitomizes the South Side rough and tumble sound that defined an era, you could do no better than Morris Holt, John Primer, Nick Holt and Nate Applewhite. I also loved this band with Jr. Pettis!
John Primer & The Real Deal Blues Band in 2007 to listen to the Efes Pilsen Blues Festival'18 in Turkiye and was very nice to take pictures, Long Live the Blues :)
