Amazing quality work. However !!!! I don’t understand how the weir is 25mm higher than the low end off the box gutter itself. the new style open overflow rainheads have an overflow they are 25mm lower than the low part of the box gutter to ensure no backflow up the box gutter. This higher weir will have to backflow up the box gutter and likely leak back in. Box gutters are not submarines. Also introducing the weir increases the chance of failure. Too many pop rivets and holes up against the sump. They complicate shit for nothing. I’m not a plumber but a registered builder. I’ve been looking at this new design and think it’s ridiculous. The old upturned pop overflow seems likes much simpler idea. Less penetrations. Whoever came up with this idea needs their head examined. In a perfect world were you don’t miss a trick it might work
