Yesss, I have done this before last year for some cards for my child's teachers, and by far the easiest way of making personalized cards. The teachers all loved the cards as well. Easy to just embellish with pearls, rhinestones, ribbons, stickers, etc. Fast and simple.
thank you for the best ideas I bought some prefolded , fairly plain cards and envelopes to save time for the thank you cards I am making for my daughter's wedding, but wanting the uniqueness I will be adding different top decorations for that person effect as well.. I love foiiling and I have both your machines so those will look so awesome as I will use the wedding colors.
Thank you for sharing this! I don’t have a minc but I want to try this with the glue pen. I just received the winter wonderland collection and I cannot wait to creat my first December daily album.
This is what everybody knows about me...I have hundreds of cards...then add my own touch in oh so many ways...I take things off other cards & put them on my card...wish I could upload one that everyone says they love..not one piece is something I die cut or stamped..it's all from other cards with diff't shaped sentiments I've purchased('course tons from Scrapbook-I order nearly two to three times a week...just go look...Nancy from NY...you'd have to know that name there...seriously !) I LOVE to grab in my boxes and do this...it is amazingly fun...I used to feel guilty-like i was stealing... I'd buy cards from crafters...but..I'd write and tell them what I wanted to do..then I'd make the card after they said "sure" and then I'd send photo of finished work...they now ask me to send them all my cards..( I am not a seasoned crafter...just big quintessential enthusiastic beginner...forever grateful for everything uploaded here to get ideas, techniques and super products first hand. THANKS ! :)
Hi Heidi!! That look amazing..... I wanted to reach you cause Im having trouble with my mini minc, its leaving a lot of black spots ... When I first used the sheets that come with the machine it wasn't foiled right either and Yesterday I tried to foil again in tracing paper (or wax paper im not sure how it is in english: papel vegetal) with a laser printer ( toner) and it was totally the same case, there were a lot of black spots not-foiled, One thing i notice is that after coming out of the machine the foil inside of the transfer carpet looks wrinkled ( and with spaces that seems to be air) and im not sure how to fix that because i make sure is the transfer carpet is flatten before going inside of the minc. Could you please help me?
So sorry to hear about this. We would recommend either contacting the company it was purchased through or the manufacturer to see if they can help troubleshoot this for you.
Karla Baker some people have used regular laminator with success and there are folks on YT who show it with no issues. I had problems with mine but it may have been user error🤷🏾♀️
I’ve never seen Heidi demonstrate before. Oh my word, she’s a hoot! I’m a fan now simply from how funny and real she seems.
Isn't she great?! 🥰

Awesome! These would be wonderful to have on hand for a quick card or with a little extra bling, ready for an upcoming event.

I wish I could get my Mink to work as well as Heidi....but the glue pen I have no problems with, without the Mink’s help. Love these cards 💕

Fantastic idea I need a sets of these cards and that you for the tips for if you don’t have a machine for the foiled. Thank you sharing

Wow Heidi! Pretty holiday stuff!
Very well done. Helpful ideas.
Love these cards super adorable.
You have the best products, Heidi! I love your Memorydex, too!
Beautiful cards!! What an easy way to make a bunch at once. TFS! I love Heidi Swapp products. ❤️
Do glitter sheets work with toner sheets? Do they work with double sided glue or transfer gel???
What a fantastic idea!!!! Loving the wonderland cards, too. Tfs :)
Love it - just made my Christmas a little less stressed
That's great to hear! 😊

I would love to use the mink foil to personalise the cards to individuals. I prefer the heat embossing tho as the foil seems quite wasteful .
@Sue Lombardi and I. Tho I assume it was just for the video's sake and not her usual routine. Even that made me gasp. 😲😂
You can definitely choose to reuse the foil until all areas have been used. :)
@@scrapbook yes i guess that makes sense that it will still work if applied in small scrap pieces. Great video. Thanks. 👍

@@scrapbook Thanks a lot, will do ;)
Can a regular laminator be used if you don't have this heating machine? Thank you.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You're so cute and real! :)
Why did you use such big pieces of foil?? What a waste but l guess you don’t have to worry about stuff like that. My regular laminated works great.
