    Full of admiration for this lady! Elephants have ALWAYS been my favourite animal since I was a small child after watching a wildlife documentary about them. I saw how sentient and majestic they were and was hooked! Beautiful animals being studied by a beautiful human!!!

      Good point, they probably have maps of their brains and can likely differentiate between the concerted meaning of their thoughts by the brain activity and regions that jointly concurrent and concerted at anyone given time. The brain stores specific functions in specific places, which makes it already organized to read what they are likely thinking about.

      saw something recently that they are creating a database of many animals vocalizations in an attempt to create an animal - human rosetta stone with AI.

    Very cool, but still interpreted thru our emotions, shaped by our life experiences and thoughts. We are watching them and assigning emotions and thoughts based on how we see their actions.

    • @Bexks
      @Bexks 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s so true. I was thinking that when they were interpreting the elephants sounds. I thought “ but you’re assigning human emotions to animals through your own understanding of them, not the elephants” . Now I may be naive but you seem to also think that, so maybe there’s something to it??

    Everyone acts so shocked how similar animals are to us. Why?! They live on the same planet and deal with the same issues we do. Cause they don't drive a car u assume they are lesser or different? Human arrogance is why people are so shocked. There is no difference between us besides how we look on the outside. Id argue animals are smarter than humans anyway in the first place. Not the other way around

    • @catlover34fl

    Is it possible that humans also have similar long-range low-frequency type communication waves that we are not even aware of consciously... but perhaps somehow can detect and sense even subconsciously ?

    I think most animals don't use languages to speak. They use vibrations, physical movement, and sounds. Just bc we communicate with languages, doesn't mean all animals do .

    While the idea of elephant language is interesting, this paper seems to exaggerate its importance without providing enough solid scientific evidence. We still do not fully understand how elephant signals work and what they can actually communicate. This can lead to misunderstandings and incorrect conclusions about elephant intelligence. I think more research is needed to verify these findings before we make such grand claims.

    This was really good and I'm sure I saw this back in 2010 but what I learned from my Indian Chief and other Indigenous people is that all four leggeds communicate via telepathy and through they sounds they make but so do the Whales and Dolphins and that is how they communicate with each other! And Sasquatch communicate via telepathy too. They are very highly evolved beings! My Chief said that telepathy was the first language for humans a very long time ago. Those poachers will have karmic hell for a long time to pay off. There is a great channel on you tube by Gregory Colbert called Ashes and Snow that is quite old but it is so fantastic because it gives a much more natural perspective!!
