Great work Jeroen . I love the idea of the reflection pool really must have a go at that this year in the garden. Some beautiful images to show for it. Look forward to the next one. Cheers Keith
Wow, great work! It seemed like it certainly didn't take long for the birds to discover the new treasure set up just for them! Looking forward to more great sightings in 2021!
Wow its looking like a wooden version of Stonehenge from the air you have all the angles covered ! Marvelous coming on really well ! The real art is getting the background right for the size of bird ! Happy New year Mark
Brilliant Jeroen, had the same sort of idea, haven't quite got round to it yet. Great photo's Enjoying your video's Greetings from Norfolk UK. Have a Great New Year Birding.
Very enjoyable presentation, I have also just built a similar pool out of an old car roof box, a pallet and 4 posts. I am also going to put a small “fence” of chicken wire about 10cm high down the sides to help persuade the birds to go to the right end... when the UK lockdown ends of course! :-)
I really enjoyed this video. I have a natural spring on my farm that I turned into a bird oasis this past summer. I think I am going to redo it this year and make it into something like this and place my hide near it. Thanks
Great video ! Today , I went to a little swamp , where there were lots of birds such as white egrets , stone ducks etc ! And can you advise me how to camouflage and tell me some tips for them because I am going to go again , there tomorrow ! Thanks a lot for your beautiful videos , keep shooting !
No idea exactly, it is gone now.... But it was about 1,2 meters square I think. It was not that big. If it was permanent, I would have made it bigger. Much longer!
Really interesting, and beautiful photos too. It looked like you pushed the shutter button, wouldn't it also be a good idea to use a wire or remote control? Although I didn't notice any unsharpness from shake in the pictures.
Argh, I of course meant bullfinch!!
I need to check these English names better when I am editing... Sorry guys!
Your English is way better than my Dutch!
These are just errors I could have avoided by checking it out on Wikipedia...
no woories, i dont know any English bird names. In Germany we call them Dompfaff by the way
amazing content love your work :)
Thanks so much Școala!

'I don't want to sit in a hide and make someone else's photo'. That's a brilliant quote Jeroen and something I agree with. Great vid too.

Very envious of the Bullfinch pictures Jeroen. They are one of my nemesis birds. I never seem to have any luck with them.
Bullfinch, NOT goldfinch. Argh, in the Netherlands we call them goldfinch (but then the Dutch words of course....).
I need to check those names...
I hope I get another chance. As this photo is far from what I hoped a photo looks like...

Nice work. It seems it didn’t take long for the birds to get use to their new watering hole!
There's not a lot of sheltered water, and it was close to their feeding ground. Quite eager birds :D

Hello Jeroen, thank you for another great video! Can you tell me the rough dimensions of the pool ?
No idea exactly, it is gone now.... But it was about 1,2 meters square I think. It was not that big. If it was permanent, I would have made it bigger. Much longer!
Really interesting, and beautiful photos too. It looked like you pushed the shutter button, wouldn't it also be a good idea to use a wire or remote control? Although I didn't notice any unsharpness from shake in the pictures.
I had one with me, you can even see it on the camera... But the batteries were empty :D
