    Thanks. Couldn't catch most of the streams because of time zones. Crazy match. Olah's backhand seems even scarier from this angle.

      I don't know him that well. I saw him play in better form once at the European Championship.

    The draw sheet had some incorrect ratings. Olah was 2806 going into the U.S. open. P.S. thanks for uploading this and all the other matches you are going to upload.appreciate your effort in these and growing the sport.

      Ya, I noticed that jinbao, Benedek, and kanak had rating adjustments but I’m just following the changes since I’m not sure the reason why they were changed so abruptly.

      @@LosAngelesTableTennis it's because they seeded based on WTT rating first, so kanak was 1st seed, then Ma jinbao then olah

      @ was seeding based on wtt rankings always a thing? Or is that newly introduced?

      @@LosAngelesTableTennis if you are top100 in ITTF ranking they seed you based on that. then it falls back to USATT rating for the rest of the seeding

    Was up! I was talking to you at US Open, you might remember me talking to u with my friend atharva. Can you tell me what Nandans equipment is? Also what rubber would you recommend for someone weak on the back hand, and someone with a really powerful forehand. Someone who likes to flat hit but adds spin in the middle of the rally.

    • @LosAngelesTableTennis
      @LosAngelesTableTennis  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hey I’m no professional but I think that any euro tensor rubber is good for backhand. I actually really like the tenergy 05 and Razka 7 soft on the backhand. I think if you have a big forehand you can use pretty much any rubber, but I actually like flat hitting with the dhs hurricane line I’m currently using dignics 09c on my forehand and I like the set up. As far as nandans set up goes, he used all butterfly equipment (his sponsor). It’s one of the first things mentioned in the one and only podcast I did with the naresh brothers.

      Oh ok the 09c on both sides with the viscaria

    • @diganthjain708
      @diganthjain708 หลายเดือนก่อน

      But I feel 09c is kinda slow. I’m using 05 dignics on both sides but I feel I should get t05 forehand and t19 on backhand

      I think it's always good (but expensive) to try things out and really figure out what you like. I know for sure that I love my set up and I feel that I'm done experimenting... I really need to focus on technique and fitness over anything else. Like a lot of our best juniors don't know anything about equipment, they just use whatever their coach/parents gave to them and focus everything on technique and training.
