I think this might be the most cohesive, beautiful song you've recently released, and I love the emotion you threw yourself into for this! It's very dreamlike, and I mean that in the chaotic anything-could-happen kind of way. I'm seriously SO proud of you.
Cohesion is what I felt like her earliest metal songs were missing. it was interesting to see all these different genres mashed together in one song, but there was little time to transition between motifs and sometimes it feels like whiplash. A lot of songs on this album, however spread out the shifts across the entire song and it sounds great!!

What she is doing is muddying waters. She changes from one genre to another. Since from my time music has had a cultural value too it. Mixing two genre of music together was just as taboo as it is ground breaking.
Examples: Anthrax and Public Enemy bring the noise, Limp bizket, and even Korn.
Her Revolutionary idea to music is not that she is mixing. She is going from different genre as one single artist. I am probably going to like her less when she moves away from the metal genre.

I thought there was something rhythmically complex going on in that intro. It must be grouped something like 6/8; 5/8; 5/8; 9/8; 7/8 X2 before she starts singing. That is an amazingly complicated bit of song writing that is also really subtle and beautiful. You can hear the piano playing out the 5/8s. Nice job!

I didn't think I'd be as keen on the new sound from the singles, but like all the poppy albums this seems to be designed to be listened to all the way through, start to finish.
