why does the swing brake thing that is located beside the cab, and has a dipstick..also have a fill tube? the fill tube is the same size as the dipstick tube. much like an automatic transmission in a car, why wouldnt i fill the thing through the dipstick tube? how do i change this fluid? is there a drain underneath somewhere? thanks for any help. much appreciated. this channel is a good idea....

I was hoping you'd be crawling on the floor? Grease in gallons. Is this a proper gallon or a Murican gallon? This is so confusing. I thought grease came in lbs
swing gear? so do i buy grease, as in the type of grease i lube the joints daily on the machine with...and take the cover off and squirt it in the hole until its to a certain level? or do i use a paint paddle? i have a cat 320cl anb serial series. should i do the 4 point grease on the swing bearing? also, the little dipstick behind the boom in the swing brake compartment thiing is a little low. what weight and type of oil do i use? i am too far from a cat dealer to buy cat oil today.
