I don’t believe he can manage an entire team and lead us to consistent winning. What should be our draft strategy? Simple, draft the best player available. What if he’s a center? Do they have the necessary skills and chemistry with the quarterback? Coaching: Are the plays called effectively for the quarterback's strengths and the team's personnel? Is the coaching staff providing adequate support and instruction? Is the game plan appropriate for the opponent? Overall Team Chemistry: Is the team playing together cohesively? Is there a lack of trust or communication affecting the quarterback's play? 2. Evaluate the Quarterback: Skillset: Does the quarterback possess the necessary physical skills (arm strength, accuracy, mobility) for the offensive system? Decision Making: Is the quarterback making poor decisions, such as throwing interceptions or fumbling the ball? Are they reading defenses effectively? Practice Habits: Is the quarterback dedicated to improving their skills through practice and film study? Mental Fortitude: Does the quarterback handle pressure and setbacks well? Possible Solutions: Coaching Adjustments: The coaching staff may need to adjust the play calling to better suit the quarterback's strengths and the team's weaknesses. They may also need to improve their strategies to counteract opponents' defensive schemes. Offensive Line Improvements: Strengthening the offensive line through improved training, player substitutions, or draft choices might be necessary to give the quarterback more time to throw. Personnel Changes: Consider adding or changing offensive players (receivers, running backs) to create a more effective offensive unit. Quarterback Development/Replacement: If the quarterback's skill deficits are significant or if mental aspects are hindering performance, additional coaching or a player substitution may be necessary. This should be a considered decision weighing current performance against potential future growth. Team Building: Improving team chemistry and fostering leadership can greatly impact overall performance. 4. Aaron Glenn will be the coach... he will choose to retain the aging defensive players for another year to help set his culture and he will opt to cut Derek Carr, possibly trade for a young backup to come compete with Rattler then sign a cheap vet. Haener will be out.
Over the past 2 years when Carr starts and finishes games, the Saints are 14-10 which means they win more than they lose with Carr. The other games 0-10, Rattler 0-6, Winston, 0-3, Haener 0-1. Be careful for what you wish for.
rattler didnt hve an offensive line his first three games & any weapons throughout his whole time starting. winston went 5-5 with the saints. we stick with carr we are not going anywhere. he’s been in the league 12 years now & wat has he shown nothing
We also had one of the easiest schedules those 2 seasons in a very winnable division. So 14-10 versus some of the worst teams is exactly a Derek Carr thing to do.
imagine how many games from our last 2 seasons that a GOOD qb would have won. the only reason why we even have people comparing derek carr to rattler and haener is because his skill level is the exact same as theirs. his only advantage is more than a decade of experience playing at the professional level with no accolades to show for it. all 3 have the exact same number of playoff wins, divisional championships, and super bowl rings. derek carr has won 1 more game in his nfl career than he’s lost. dc’s wins with the saints coincide with the availability of the weapons that he can’t keep healthy. it could be argued that rattler would put on an equal or greater performance with just as many weapons to cycle through.
Jacoby Brissett, really Matt?? How about Minchew, Wilson, Stidham, Zappe etc. Why not Carr who is a proven NFL QB, team captain, advocate for the community? No. They will restructure and keep Derek Carr for years to come. That new head coach is going to be force fed Derek Carr and must have Dennis Alans coaches. WHO? Will want to come to that?
Too funny. You actually think having a different QB will solve the problem of the o line and how crappy that defense is. 5-5 with all the injuries and your shit ass defense not stopping anyone!!otherwise it was 8-2 with those 3 blown leads in last minute. One damn drive to stop a team from going 70 yards but instead eagles get a TD in 60 seconds!!!
I'm definitely ready for a Carr-Saints divorce. Pay Carr his alimony and move on to a new relationship 🤷 Carr is a low calorie Dak Prescott same jersey number and all. Better than the worst QB option but nowhere near the best QB in any category 🤷
@ryanphilp9843 retirement sounds more like it... he washed up.. never was really good just ok.. i used to say ..he's the only qb I see turning the ball over on a consistent basis on the one yard line.
Screw it...go get Aaron Rodgers. He's looking for one more year as an opportunist, not money. Let him mentor Rattler and Haener and hope he stays healthy. Then go after a first round QB in 2026...
Dereck Carr is definitely the emperor of empty yards but even drew brees was. Drew wasnt good enough either to win 3 out of 5 super bowls yet 2 win 2. Drew never really impressed me and I see rattler at best being Drew beees. We need to get Arch manning and hire a gm from out of Green Bay office, I’m tired of these small limited qbs. Lol do it and find out. Ask the raiders, how it's going without a franchise qb? Get your paper bags ready👍
aw man are we bringing dalton back
No. They will restructure and keep Derek Carr for years to come. That new head coach is going to be force fed Derek Carr and must have Dennis Alans coaches. WHO? Will want to come to that?
Loomis needs gone he mess us over for years and years
They aren't gonna cut Carr. He gave that answer because they're gonna restructure him. We will be stuck for 2 more years.
I sure hope not.
Saint fans… Reality is the enemy of Delusional! Just ask the homeless guy talking to himself in the alley!
Draft Jaxson dart ands cheap vereran
I'm definitely ready for a Carr-Saints divorce. Pay Carr his alimony and move on to a new relationship 🤷
Carr is a low calorie Dak Prescott same jersey number and all. Better than the worst QB option but nowhere near the best QB in any category 🤷
Mickey is lying thru his teeth
Carr is not why the saints are losing
He ain't why they won games either man. That's exactly the point
Bologna
Mat Mat the Carr hater. Wish all you want on your favorite star but Carr will be back. HAHAHAHA
Laughter now 😂, cry 😢 later... he is what he is....
@@ricksta831 true true, but more like I am that I am! HAHA
@@Grimreaper-u1y 😆 🤣 😂
No, Carr wants out, already moved the family to Fresno.
We need someone who will be better then Drew Brees was
The guys been there two years give him a chance oh yeah, he got them to the playoffs and then they went right down to as good as not making the playoffs. Do you wanna make the playoff? Do you wanna make a run for the Super Bowl?
