Looking at these food items and saying to myself, *it pays to stay in Abuja*. Food is quite cheap in Abuja.

Buying groceries /foodstuff these days is so painful 😓
When you think life has gotten a little better for you or you start earning more, the price of things will slap you in the face and make you feel like you're back to square one 😓

My dear 😭😭😭. So annoying. Seems like nobody cares about how the average Nigerian is surviving. They just want to face their re-election and destroy the exchange rate in the process.

Hi Nancy, I just found your channel today 🙌 I'm in South Africa 🇿🇦 and food is also pricey too.. But Im into farming and I grow my own veggies, herbs.. And also few fruits.. This year I want to grow corn 🌽 at the back since its raining now.. Coz yoooo the cost of living is becoming worser😏😢

You're correct Nancy, it's everywhere. Start saving your seeds so that when you're ready, you and the children can enjoy starting a garden of many of these item; like the bell peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, etc. You can do it!
I think you have some gardening started, so adding to it gradually will be natural. I'm 67 and have a very, very small yard to my townhouse, and I grow out of containers. You can do it, I promise.

Wow that is so expensive. How is someone not so wealthy in Nigeria going to afford food nowadays?
    This are almost Europe prices😩
My husband has been to Nigeria recently and he complained about that as well.

The 3 yams would be $30 or more here, but at least people get pad regularly here.
I pray for a speedy change in that country

You should start a garden and have hen for the eggs. I have few hen and I never buy eggs at the store. So many fruits and vegetables are easy to grow especially tomatoes! You should try you would save tons on the long run 🤗
