Eddie, if you are still in Malaysia, pls go to any pharmacy you can find nearby and buy colchicine and prednisone for your gout problem. Always bring those medicine along when you travel. And do skip seafood and beers.
Nice video Eddy , the main thing missing is the reasonable priced ice cold beer , i found it a must in the hot tropical climate , whether in Laos , Vietnam , Thailand or Cambodia , cold beer stops are always available , but Malaysia looks challenging.. I trust Eddie will have his cheap drinks in langkawi. Hope he doesn't drink too much as he has gout. It is from beer for sure. Malaysia has high taxes for cigarettes and alcohol. Too bad penang is not duty free. Tourists who loves beer has to go to tax free islands. For expats, they hv the income to drink everywhere they want. I mean it is available everywhere. Just do not drink in a pub as they have service charge buy it and drink with friends eg parks, house party, beaches.

Nice one, Eddie! You have a flair for descriptive videos. I listened to this one through headphones, and the varying scenes were very atmospheric. They have a thing for bicycles there, don't they! But the area is certainly very colourful. I love the street protected by multi-coloured umbrellas/parasols! When I visited Penang in 1995, I stayed in one of the resort hotels on the north coast of the island, and I remember going to the Buddhist temple on Penang Hill - a worthwhile visit. Also the butterfly park which was memorable. Your smoothie drink at the end looked extremely refreshing, at least judging by your favourable reaction! Cheers! 😋
