- This is some footage we have of bringing jackson home from the hospital! We were so happy to bring him home and I am so happy to have these memories forever. My pregnancy went by so slow at the end and I wanted nothing more than to get my baby in our home and this day was so amazing! We love having him home and in his nursery! I love that the nurse was there to help strap him in and didn't just send you on your way! thats awesome! they need more nurses to do those things these days lol Congrats momma! I hope motherhood is everything you ever wanted it to be!
+Katey and Family Yes so am I because she helped a lot and I was still very sore from the c section so I was on my pain meds and wouldn't remember what she said if I didn't video it haha!
Awh! haha thats exactly how i was after both of my c-sections!
Laws actually don't allow some nurses to teach car seat safety for liability reasons depending on the state...because if something happens the parent can come back and say "well the nurse told us it should be like that" and all hospitals care about is money unfortunately. But I totally agree all L&D nurses should be trained in car seat safety. I know here in Texas you normally go to a car dealership or fire station to have your car seat checked and installed.
I've had 3 kids in 2 different states and in both states, we were absolutely NOT allowed to leave the hospital unless a nurse OK'd the baby was properly restrained in their car seat. I didn't realize it could be different in different areas!

The woman in red T-shirt (think she is a hospital employee) is amazing. She is skillfully pushing the wheel chair with a woman and a newborn on it while also pulling the cart!

I can't wait till I have kids, but I'm still young so that will have to wait. I'm 16 and I work in a nursery. I take care of babies who range from newborns to the age of 2, and on occasions up to the age of 6. I honestly love being with the babies so much.
watching after Landon is born and realized you guys didn't change much at all. The only thing that's different is 1) Jackson and 2) Your filming quality XD

So I thought I was pregnant recently because my period came really late. Today I took the test and it came back negative and I finally, nearly 4 days late, got my period. But this morning I was all stressed out because I thought Iw as pregnant and by mid day when i took the test I was actually excited to have a baby. I literally thought I was pregnant so I amped myself up and became so positive about it that I was truly excited to have a baby, but then the test came back negative. Now I'm slightly relieved but more sad. I was really excited after years of never wanting a kid, I finally felt like I could do it. Guess the time wasn't right to have a kid now anyways and it wasn't fate for this moment to have a kid. But watching this really makes me wish I was pregnant. I know this is old, I've been a fan for a couple months now and just haven't watched this yet. I can't wait to see Landon
Fitness With Cait just came upon this now; do you have a child st this point in time?
In England you give birth and a few hours later they just say bye bye and that's it! I would have loved to have a nurse to show me different things but no such luck here.
MJ in my country you have the baby, get maybe an hour, sometimes less after having the baby then they just say bye, my cousin went to the hospital at 7pm and was home by 9 pm (she took an hour to give birth)
MJ It just depends on what type of birth you have, which hospital, what nurse you have etc. One of my sister's were out a few hours later and one had a c-section so had to stay in for 5 days.
EP D yeah I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days with my first c section. Will for this one to most likely. :)

This hospital brings me good and bad memories. My first pregnancy my baby didn't come home.😢. My second pregnancy my baby and I had some complications but he is ok. But at the hospital everyone was great. And we had to take a car seat class before we could bring the baby home.

I absolutely love your coming home video, as well as the birth story. My son was also delivered via Emergency C Section, it was the scariest yet most beautiful day of my life.

You can definitely tell the difference between their knowledge with a newborn then and now. They did do a wonderful job with Jackson, he's such a sweet boy. But I think they didn't know as much about taking care of a just born baby then they do now. Obviously they've had Jackson, so they have some wonderful experience. I'm so excited to see Landon grow up, and I love him death already. He looks so much like Jackson. Has anyone noticed that?

It's regulation in a lot of places. I've had kids in 2 states and even though I was comfortable restraining my third baby no problem, I still had to do this with a nurse.

alexanne barrette no she was being nice. Obviously at the hospital the nurses are required to help, and she was very informative and made sure they were doing it the right way. It's all in the name of Jacksons safety.
