The funny thing is losing to the bears is still not good enough for the actual punishment. When you lose you get to make a card from the cards in your deck, and can make some pretty overpowered cards with this. However, you can actually beat the bears if you built your deck right. If you push past both bear moments you can actually beat the game, but because of story reasons you still get killed by camera and the card you get is simply a trophy to show you got to the end. Then again, if your good enough to fend off literal bears you don't need more ways to make customizable game breaking cards.

There's also the area right before the end of Act 1, where all your previous death cards turn on you right before you get to the cabin. If you've spent the last several runs making high powered cards, you'll have to fight through several of them to finally win.

I recently learned about Moira's gunfear in Revelations 2, and I do have to say, I think Barry's getting off very, very easily here. He's a cop, so he should know about guns. He's STARS, so he should know about guns squared. And he's the weapons specialist of STARS, so he should know about guns cubed. And yet he left his guns in an unlocked cabinet around children, which isn't particularly forgiveable for someone who's supposed to know nothing about guns altogether. It's a bit of a let down, because we all love Barry in his competence, doing bosses for us, and having the most bizarre possible sense of humour, and he SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER, BARRY.

Slipstream 5000 is a racer that punished you for being too good. It's an aircraft racer with weapons, but you could ignore combat by upgrading the engines. The punishment part is that it's possible to start lapping the slowest racers. Overtaking the racer in last position and then being overtaken will put you in last place. I think it's a bug and not intentional so maybe it doesn't count.

I'm reminded of when me and a friend played "Worms" back in the 90s, a 2D turn-based team fighting/tactical game. It had a feature where if you eliminated two or more enemies in a single turn it would show an "instant replay" of the event, and at one point I managed to pull this off by a chain reaction (probably involving a steep slope and random mines) taking out two worms in my friend's team. As I smugly leaned back to watch the replay, somehow the game glitched and the replay didn't have the hit cause the chain, just the initial ~30 damage. We both thought it was weird the replay bugged out, but even weirder was when the game continued with the result from the replay, not the original hit! I was incredulous (to my friend's great amusement), and for years afterwards when watching sports or such, we'd joke about having to see the replay before we celebrated.

Moira's irrational fear of firearms in RE: Revelations 2, to the point that she'd not even use them when zombie-like creatures are up in her face despite her father's prowess just all screamed of the 'overcome your fears or die' trope. And the fact that the camera follows the gun being tossed away from Claire towards Moira, and not Claire who is in immediate mortal danger, was such a dead giveaway that this is the moment Moira must overcome her fears lest she'll die, which, incidentally, is the literal theme of the game. You 'fail' - in the sense that unlocking the bad ending where Moira and Natalia dies is considered failing, not by being too 'good' at the game, but by not picking up on obivous clues and following the 'wrong' button prompt.

@@Peter_The_Great too many years have passed to give an accurate estimate, but I was actually quite good at it so no more than 2-3 (maybe one planet 5) tries if i had trouble... so probably not much more than 1 or 2 hours full game

Well I was today years old when I found out why I couldn’t stop Dean from getting hostile with me at the end.

RE Revelations 2 was great. It came out in a very dry RE period and was just great. Did not have the polish of a main title and i think that actually what saved it from beinf RE 5 and 6.
Also Moira is a treat. Just by existing she made Barry much more interesting character and she is quite likable all on her own. Yes swearing and all.
Also the last fight with Barry actually reached the badass levels that 5 and 6 were shooting for and missed.

Hang on a second, you're telling me a Resident Evil monster was taken out by a few shots from a handgun?

Hey guys, love your videos. Keep up the work. I have something in elden ring I thin the community need to know. The Marggit's shackle (bought from patches) or the mogh's shackle (found at bottom of subterranean shunning grounds), is very useful in catacombs (along with their boss uses) because if activated any where that invisible walls are present it will reveal all of the in a wide radius. Also it will move the stone pillars up and down so no more wasted ammo or deaths. Hope this get out to the community because I have not found anything about it online so far

Wao. It can move the imp pillars? That's great to know. I can get used to keeping it equipped for that and illusionary walls now.

I don't see the problem with getting bad endings, because sometimes bad endings are the best endings. Both in looks and shock value
