What an amazing set of wheels!.AWESOME!.
I want one but cant really justify paying $6k-$8k for it. If they were around $4k maybe.

I would love something like this for winter riding. Though I'd use a hub gearbox just to keep as much out of the muck as possible.
That thing can be modified into a SHTF, bug out type vehicle , with storage etc. Great.
I'm building a prototype all terrain pedal quad that's 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steer. The frame and drive train is strong enough that I can plow the snow this next winter.

I have very strong legs. Using it will be just like any exercise,,, know your limits and plan your activities ahead of time.

I'm building it to get exercise. I'll build a blade for the front so I can plow the snow off of the sidewalk in the winter.

yeah, he wasn't into talking about it, I think he was overwhelmed with how much attention it gained. I would have liked to know more about it as it was so cool.

2stroketurbo Right... I was the first of a small few that owned a recumbent trike in my town about 7-8 years ago. I was instant attention every place I rode it. You see trikes every where now. Utahtrikes.com builds the Catrike Villager into a FAT CAT QUAD 4. Those cost about 5-6K.

How is the rolling resistance when you got 4 tires vs 2? Must be heavy to pedal with all those extra bearings also. A 1000w mid drive ebike system would be perfect for this.

These are more common in Europe and they cost a FORTUNE. 5k absolute minimum for this bike.

That is very cool looking but it would be a bitch to pedal any distance at all. I have a Terra Trike that I put fat tires on and really regretted it. I then put skinny tires that inflated to 100 pounds and the fat slow trike turned into a rocket!!

Talk about outdated tech. Even cars use a motor per wheel. Someone has to make a single sided axle for hub motors, then you'd have true 4 wheel drive. Way simpler, cheaper and lighter.
