What a fun adventure!! We love hot springs! New Zealand has a lot of them. We usually go in the winter. It feels so good when it's chilly outside :)
Yes! My wife and I were in New Zealand after studying abroad in Australia…during a hike to a hot spring, snow on the ground and we were all bundled up, but swim suits underneath :) Loved the hot springs in NZ!
