Let the Haters and negative Felger & Mazz cult fans cry. I’m happy with the draft I’m happy with the direction they’re going. When they show out I wonder if people try and jump on the bandwagon. Patriot fans starting to become flimsy. Born and raised in Boston I’m riding for my city ALWAYZ 💯🤞🏽
Fr man, I don’t see how people are complaining. Got a possible franchise qb and 2 stud receivers, as well as adding possible developmental O line guys. Cannot think of a way the draft could’ve gone better for us.
Your not lying so much hate on everything they do it's going to be a process we've Ben spoiled for a long time now it's are turn to work are way up let's keep the process going hope we get better
Half of this fanbase are not even familiar with the fucking roster!!!! Lol mafuckas was in the instagram.comment section complaining about Balmore getting a lot of money when they don't even know who he is??? I hate this fanbase bro
Love the drafting of Polk and Baker. They should work well together. It will be fun to watch them grow with Maye. Pats only had 7 draft picks, so there wasn't a lot of opportunity to move up. You don't want a 4-13 team trading 2025 draft picks. Milton can be traded for a future pick or hang around after Brissett's one year is up. Another phase of the rebuilding is complete. Pats did a good job. Now it's up to the coaches to coach guys up.
Thronton is just fast for nothing all that speed and still can't create separation.. he on the chopping block for sho... them walker and baker picks should apply pressure on him
Check out the draft grades for guys like Joe thuney, Shaq mason, Sebastian vollmer, David Andrews, Bryan stork (great before concussions ended his career), Mike Owenu …I’ll reserve judgement on the oline until after I see what Scott peters and the coaching staff can do, as I would hope they had input on these picks.
Also, what I didn’t hear mentioned on the Polk pick, that trade down led to Baker, so if leggette or Coleman would have been taken at 34, you would not have baker as the trade wouldn’t have happened
If the QB hits then its a A draft...every other player is basically a coin flip so am happy they took 2 reliable WRs and a couple of OLine guys...i think Brisett plays until either they are happy with Drakes progession or they are happy with the pass protection and time to throw he will have
I'm down with the receivers. I hate that they were one of the biggest reachers at OL. There's a 85% chance they are taking multiple passes high in the draft at OL, especially LT, next year.
Thanks guys. Well done!!! I did enjoy the draft . I felt the Pats graded a solid B for the draft. I do think that Joe Milton has some serious skills that are going to come into play and help.
Also, it was foolish to think they could draft a QB1, a WR1 ans a good starting LT in this draft. It was a choice between taking a shot at a real QB1, and settle for a likely WR2 and a developmental tackle, or trading down, forgetting the QB1 possibility this year and pick a WR1 and a good starting LT.
Yea I like him alot . The man catches everything thrown his way. I feel like he’s gonna be a really good player in the league for a long time. When they finally do get that elite outside receiver, maybe it’s next off-season I feel like they’ll be set .
@@pmac206 Could even be Baker. A bit optimistic they hit on both guys. But I can see it. Polk screams Jordy Nelson, better Tyler Boyd to me Baker has star upside but a much lower floor
Barramore is great because he came out so you meaning his first contract shouldnt be his last or best so he still has motovation to get another contract in a few years for even more money than he got this time
LT should have been The priority after Maye. They failed to move up for Tyler Guyton in the first and again into the back of the second for Suamataia. LT should have been the priority not WR.
I agree should of moved up or took a LT with the second round pick being that it still was some good receivers on the board but I like what they did overall.
Was never going to be a one year rebuild, filled 2 of our biggest needs and have money and likely a high draft pick next year to get an elite tackle. Think this offseason was always going to be about 2025 and 2026.
Worst case, they failed to adequately fill the left tackle need. That's not surprising. We knew it was unlikely they'd be able to fill all their needs in this first draft.
In the end, this draft will be defined by what Drake Maye will end up being as a QB. If he ends up a bust or an average player, this draft will be a waste. On the other hand, if he ends up being a top-10 QB in the league, then you can build a contender.
Wolf conducted a very timid draft. Afraid to make mistakes. Practically paralyzed. Missed the run on WRs, the run on OL, the run on RBs, and the run on TEs. Just stayed pat and waited. Ended up taking whatever was left over on every occasion. All high floor/low ceiling guys. The one and only trade netted no extra pick. B-
lol Polk was on everyone’s board they wanted him to run a slow 40 so he would drop look it up I didn’t like it at first ether but I like it the more I look into him and the baker pick up we got him at a good spot .
Saying Polk would have gone in the next 5 picks is a silly thing to say. How much different is he than Roman Wilson? Wilson went 20 deep into the third. Most evaluations had Wilson rated higher. Just throwing comments out like that is….
Wilson and Polk are evidently regarded differently. It was proven. Teams didn’t love Wilson. No need to talk in hypotheticals anymore. Teams like polk much better. Many credible sources in the NFL loved Polk and saw him as a second round pick. Wilson was a mid third. Two different players drafted in different tiers
@@Gabbagool345 we can definitely see that nobody LOVED Wilson but I only know of one team and Washington super fan Mina Kimes who loved Polk. Please give examples of teams who thought Polk was a round and a half better than Wilson who by the way is the same height and weight, faster, and runs better routes
@@brianhammond2832 Jim Nagy was on the sidelines when Polk was running his 40 and multiple teams were there hoping he would run a slow 40 so they could get him at a lower pick most
@@Skithra282 lower than what? Lower than where the Patriots took him? Lower than his projected value? Lower than Roman Wilson? He did run a slow time. Wilson on the other hand ran under 4.4. Did the other teams think Polk would be taken in the fifth or something?
@@brianhammond2832 they took him about ten spots higher then the next team that was talking about grabbing him and the trade they made back made them higher in the round that they grabbed baker in :)
I’m not that high on this draft Maye does not count in my grade they took the QB that fell to them you don’t get credit for that. I actually really like Polk as a player but with the elite talent at corner and DL still on the board I would have taken Cooper Dejean. They need a Safety and another corner and he can play either position. They could have gone WR at 3 instead of taking a tackle that was rated outside the top 150 on most boards. Another interior lineman that was also a huge reach after taking four in the last two drafts made very little sense.there were plenty of promising edge players available. Baker has the potential to be a good x receiver which is something they desperately need I think he was the best vale pick of their draft. They took a project corner in the 6th over WR Malik Washington who went 10 picks later do Miami is a move that that they are going to regret. He will be the steal of this years draft. The Milton Pick was a waste. He clearly is not an NFL QB. If they wanted another guy they could have taken Michel Pratt who went later and is a more viable option the grades a C for me
You can tell pats fans watch Joe Milton’s HIGHLIGHTS. lol Doubt they sat down to watch Tennessee. He’s the best frame & buid. Best arm ever. Alll for nothing.

Give Wolf the title of G.M give him a contract. Create some stability in the front office
I am very pleased with this draft. Also the Barmore re-sign is fantastic news.
It doesn't matter how fast a WR runs if they can't catch the ball. Bethel Johnson, Chad Jackson and Thornton are perfect examples of that.
Thronton is just fast for nothing all that speed and still can't create separation.. he on the chopping block for sho... them walker and baker picks should apply pressure on him
Yeah I thought Ty could be a punt returner but he is made of glass
Great work. Loved the draft, but LT makes me nervous. Don't want Maye starting until the line is settled. Go, Pats!
This was a good discussion and breakdown of the draft, honest and fair debate. No agenda or drama .
Great so far 5:08
A+ pod. Loved the Javon Baker and H-Back discussion.
You can use the TE or RB to help chip with the LT so the wide receivers can get downfield for Brissett/Maye to get the ball to them.

Andrew I appreciate the work you put into the in depth coverage of the patriots
Best in the game its not even close
Bell will be used as a fullback if they go to more of a running team until Maye is ready. Polk is an excellent run blocker along with his great hands.

Im pretty sure he is next in line.. Kraft ain't gonna be GM much longer.. he is obviously being set up to be the replacement
Jaheim bell was their best pic
Setting the value on these guys ramps up the scale for upcoming contracts . Curious who gets butt hurt and holds out of camp.
Polk is a B+ minimum
